To add to what @krissmed is saying, it's good to tweak the brightness of a source when cutting it, but take care not to overdo it π
@janedwinssen Are you using remove.bg to cut the image? It seems like the hair has lost a lot of detail in the cutting process which isn't uncommon when cutting manually. Also, you can cut much closer to the chin. You need just a 2-3 pixel gap under the chin.
no I don't, I cut manually. Autocuts are too basic

I'm afraid the results through manual cutting techniques are somewhat inferior to what remove.bg can provide. If you see my cut, there are plenty of fine hair details, in fact, and it's not because I'm a better cutter. It's simply because remove.bg in the absolute majority of cases does a better job than previous tools used by the community in removing hair details.
It's quicker and provides better results - what's not to like π

I agree that autocutters usually are terrible, but not remove.bg. I use it for all my cuts. Remove.bg is the most effective and best way to cut images. It save you a lot of time compared to manual cutting, which mean that you can get a lot more sources cut in the same amount of time.
okay, started trying it and I am impressed by the results! Thanks
