one of the reasons why I rarely take requests
already asked too much from most of the requesters to get a simple 'thank you',
but when confronted with responses and requests like these,

I know what you mean, but for every rude requester there are many more polite and appreciative members on this forum; I call them the silent majority. I find it easier to ignore those who do not behave well and help those who do, otherwise I'd have left this place a long time ago. It'll be a much easier experience if you do so too

Don't necessarily need a thank you, just as long as the requester takes more than 1 minute to find the source as we use more of our time on cutting it than it takes to find the best source.

I think you guys have massively misinterpreted me. I completely apologise if i came over as negative. It was not what what I intended. I have contributed a hell of a lot to this site as a cutter in the past as Mons will confirm. I think posts, like text messages, can be read without feeling and can get misconstrued.

I absolutely understand the time and energy put into producing the pictures for this site. If anyone was offended by my post, then i sincerely apologise unreservedly. It was not my intention to upset anyone. I think id had a couple of beers too many that evening and chose my words unwisely.
