What snow effect, @mons? If you're referring to the top of the hair, I guess those are mainly sunlight's reflections. But if you think this effect could be reduced, I'll try to fix it. I'm a first-time cutter afterall

Oh, I could have sworn I saw you doing some cuts previously. Never mind
In the above screenshot, you can see that there is the topmost part of the hair which is of a different colour to the rest of the hair. If you zoom in on it, the curly hair on our right, for example, has a bluish tinge. This is what we call snow. Though it could be the case occasionally in some sources that there is indeed the sunlight's reflection, you can see this is not really the case in the original source.
In order to remove this, you can use the technique outlined in this short and easy-to-understand video, which shows a good method of how to quickly spot and clean snow. The reason we aim to avoid these in our cuts is that they are very evident in-game on a dark skin.
There are a number of other guidelines outlined in this thread btw, if you haven't see them already. What program and technique are you using to cut-out, if I may ask? Perhaps we can offer some practical tips

As I mentioned on the dedicated thread, I use a program called Franzis Cut Out. I think it could be a useful resource for all the cutters here on sortitoutsi, especially for the most skilled ones.
I have several portable versions of the program that I could pass to you, but I don't want to break forum rules posting it here given it's a paid software. If you want to have a look at it, maybe it's better by PM, I don't know. Of course, If you think what I wrote is too "sensitive", please feel free to edit or delete this part.

No worries, nothing you've said is against forum rules
It's just that remove.bg does that job at an equivalent standard, if not better, for free and with less playing around. It's a game-changer for us cutters. Of course, the cutter's manual touch is still needed afterwards to clean, rotate, crop etc but the sheer amount of work it saves while still retaining a high standard of cutting is incredible. Just look at this cut, this cut, this one, this one or this one. Probably no more than a minute or two each, at most
