That's a bit better, but you're still leaving a little bit too much space between the top of the hair and the top of the cut; all of that is just wasted space. In this particular case, I think I would also rotate the source about 2 percent clockwise before starting to cut, in order that you get the face aligned a bit straighter.
I'm not sure if that's what you're doing, but don't resize the source before starting to cut. The higher the resolution you cut at, the easier it will be and the more details you'll be able to include

im under the assumption that you leave no more than 1 or 2 pixels between the top of the hair and the top of the cut ?? example below
no im not resizing the image before i cut i have the crop tool setup for 180px x 180px

Yep, that's much better
Your previous screengrab contained probably around 4-5 pixels. It's not the end of the world, granted, but it isn't really necessary...
