I can't quote from the request rules as I've reached my request limit, but it's clearly specified in the rules that newer is not automatically better
Just because a source is more recent, doesn't automatically mean it is an improvement. After all, what's the point in having the exact same face (only a year older) with no difference in hair style or facial hair? Just because there's 2-3 pixels of this year's kit instead of last years? Surely cutters should focus more on cuts requiring genuine improvement. There's over 190,000 images in the megapack, I'm sure there are much worse and older cuts which cutters should dedicate their time on
Of course, if cutters want to produce these kind of cuts, then by all means they can do so and I will add them to the MP (as is currently the case), but I really see little point in making these kind of requests which, however well they are cut, quite simply just aren't genuine improvements.

Unless there's a significant difference in the player's style or in the potential quality of cut, I would only request improvements if the existing MP cut is quite old
