For sources like this it may make sense to either use the auto contrast tool (image > auto-contrast) to see if it gives a little bit more of a natural look (you can then press shift+ctrl+f to decrease the effect if need be) or you can manually toggle the exposure and/or contrast (image > adjustments > expsoure) yourself.
As always, use these tools sparingly and with good judgement and they can give you better results in a lot of cases 🙂
