Hmm ok, but I think the original sources are big enough for a 250x250 already? @mons Wouldn't it be better to just leave them untouched then? It looks a bit unnatural imo

I'm showing you original image, cut without any interventions and cut from my pack.
Compare them and tell me what's unnatural, please.
I've used only a bit of Vibrance since all Uefa photos are bland.

I agree with @bakzip here, the cutout pack looks fine to me - this is a case where the use of AI upscaling is useful, as by going from (e.g.) a face height of 220px to 250px there's not too much for the AI to “guess” what should be in a certain pixel and you still get improved sharpness/definition compared to upscaling in Photoshop.
Check this article which shows significant improvements to the software.
This is not some Instagram toy 😉

As a rule of thumb, I'm not a big fan of upscaling software when the output is visibly hazy and prefer to use the original source. Happily, this is not one of those cases and the cut produced is of a very good quality, sharp and with no real visible blur 🙂
Again @owusu26, no collar. If you're going to keep uploading cuts, the least you could do is listen to feedback and follow the guidelines.
