@mons You can see it yourself; people prefer to cut out the latest faces from good images rather than from an image that has been up for a year. If they didn't, there wouldn't still be 1,700 faces left…

I know what you mean and I don't totally disagree - but you could also argue that the reason we have 1,700 pending requests is that cutters are focusing more on requests which aren't really necessary to improve the quality of the megapack. Besides, I really don't see the value of producing 3 or 4 identical cuts for prominent players each year, which is why that particular rule was introduced way back.

Still, if the community is dealing with them, who am I to argue with their choices? It just seems like such an unnecessary duplication of effort though 😢
