Current image is new and perfectly fine.

I don't know how many Sporting requests I've seen in the past weeks/months and it always seems that the majority of them end up getting rejected. Please make sure you read and follow the rules when making an improvement request, to ensure it is actually an improvement and not just the latest image available.

But what's wrong with this request? Somethimes I just don't understand your reasons to reject everything

I already gave the reason in my post: the present MP image is new and perfectly fine.

By way of background information, it was added in the recent 9.09 pack from an excellent source taken during Portugal's photoshoot for the Confederations Cup. When you take this into consideration, it's clear that there's no real need for the request to be cut, because it quite simply isn't an improvement. Besides, now that I've actually had a better look at the source, it's clear that the face is not large enough and any cut will thus need to slightly enlarge (and therefore blur) the face. Even if he hadn't been cut recently, it simply isn't an improvement. Please realise that it's "improvement", and not "newer image", for a reason.
