Absolutely nothing SS - just do everything as I'd normally do, select the game, 'play' then the little box comes up to make you think it's loading and nothing. Just goes nowhere? Bizarre.

Got in quicker if anything this evening when logging in to Steam.

What error does it give you?

Hi, anyone having any issues launching from Steam tonight? I saved a game yesterday and, ridiculously, logged out. Now when I log in and try to relaunch, it's not happening at all! Know it's not an FM19 thing, just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar today or recently....

Hi, I’ve tried to install the new facepack tonight - seems to have all installed Ok however now when I try to start a season up, I get the attached message below? Anyone help?

There's many similar software for Macs, try them out. Sorry can't be more specific but as I don't have a Mac, there's not much more I can do...

You need to extract it. Unless you do so, it just cannot work.


I don't have the option to extract anywhere though?

Any luck yet? It's supposed to be quite straight-forward to extract compressed files; a matter of a couple of clicks.

Sorry mons, I've only just recently saw this message. Thanks for asking but I've not had the chance to look into it much so far tonight.

I've attached a screenshot of where the file is - it seems to be a .rar file anyway? So it's definitely something to do with the extracting. I think!

I'll maybe need to try and liase with someone who's done this before on a Mac - the amount of people that suggested this was easy to do was one of the main reason I came via Sortitoutsi, can't believe it's taken me all night and I'm still no further forward! Not your fault however, really appreciate you trying to help on a Sunday evening with this.

When you download winrar, there's a button called extract. Click it and take note of the folder it is extracted to. Then put the ensuing extracted folder in Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2017 / graphics.


I don't know if you can see the screenshot attached mons but I can't see the 'extract' option?

Have you extracted the rar file with winrar? The file you've downloaded is compressed, unless you extract it, it simply can't work.

If you're not sure that what you've done is right, just upload a screenshot of your megapack folder


Ok, I don't think I've extracted the file with winrar in that case? Do you know how I do that?

Just put it on the desktop or Downloads or somewhere else for the time being. Extract the file and place the ensuing sortitoutsi folder in the location you had earlier placed the rar file.


Sorry mons, I'm definitely doing something wrong - I've now got a rar folder on my desktop and the 9GB file in the graphics folder where I said it was earlier? Sorry if I'm being a pain in your backside, I just can't work out what I'm doing wrong?

Remove the rar file from there.

Use Winrar for Mac to extract the files...


Thanks again mons, I've dowloaded win-rar now, I'm not sure where I move the big file to now however? Can you help?

Can I have a screenshot of the location you've placed the files you've downloaded? How many images do you have in your megapack folder? And how do players appear in-game?


Hi mons, thanks for that - as I say, I'm new!

The path for the file is this - Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2017 > graphics > 9GB .rar file

I'm sure I've installed it properly? I'm really new to the Mac so not sure how to screenshot, sorry. The players faces just don't appear - I get the 'shadow' if that makes sense?

Hello, I'm new to the site so apologies if I'm asking a dead silly question.
I've downloaded the face pack for FM17 and installed it as directed but it still doesn't seem to be working? It's for a MAC so assume it's roughly the same installation process?
