Hello,

I'm having trouble launching the app on my  Mac (M2, macOS 26.0.1).

The application immediately crashes on launch and the Crash Report indicates a "Library missing" termination reason, specifically several system libraries needed by libleptonica.6.dylib (e.g., libarchive.13.dylib, libpng16.16.dylib, and libjpeg.8.dylib).

I have successfully installed all required missing libraries via Homebrew (/opt/homebrew/lib/):

brew install libarchive

brew install libpng

brew install jpeg

Despite these libraries being present, the application fails to locate them.

I also attempted to launch the app via the Terminal with explicitly set Dyld environment variables (e.g., export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH="/opt/homebrew/lib:$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH"), which is the standard workaround for this issue on Apple Silicon, but the app continues to crash.

Question: Was this application compiled natively for ARM64 (Apple Silicon), or is it an older version built for Intel that is running under Rosetta 2? It appears there may be a hardcoded issue with the Dyld linkages within the app's structure.

Thank you for any help or a potential update to resolve this issue!

Niestety nie mam ani epica, ani game passa więc nie wiem, jak tam wygląda struktura folderów. Zalecam poszukać poradników/filmów na YT jak instalować dodatki na inne platformy.

 

Czy masz pomoc dla Steam. Po prostu nie wyświetla się ani w edytorze, ani w grze. Proszę o pomoc, chciałbym zacząć

Dobra mam rozwiązanie na EPIC źle zapisuje foldery 😢 Teraz widzi też twój plik dzięki bardzo że jest tak szybko bo nie widzę gry bez niego 🙂 

I fixed it. There was a difference regarding the names of the folders where the game and the pre-game editor were installed. One is called "FM24pregameeditor" and the other is "FootballManager24". Those are the default names that the Epic Games installer gives to installation directories so  every time I opened the editor the path in "special folders" .xml file pointed to an "FM24" folder that did not exist. So in notepad I changed the path to "FootballManager24" folder and now everything is working fine.  If anyone is having the same issue just open the "special folders" .xml file in the folder where your pre-game editor is installed via notepad and change the "FM24" path to  "FootballManager24". You can use the "replace" option in the notepad so you don't need to manually replace every word.

 

Do you also have a solution for Steam? It can't find anything there either and grays out the database at the top right.
