Instead of feet being represented by two circles it would be pretty neat if they actually looked like two wee feet.  I imagine if that was easy to do you probably would have did it to begin with.

I do this but there are some caveats to it.  At some point before FM21 graphics were stored in the %PUBLIC% folder rather than the %HOMESPACE% folder, and at some point before FM17 symlink support stops working.  For example, for me to use the same graphics in FM14, FM17 and FM21 I need to do the following…

 

%PUBLIC%/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2014/graphics   <This is where the faces, logos, etc are installed>

%PUBLIC%/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2017/graphics   <This contains symlinks to the first directory>

%HOMESPACE%/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2021/graphics   <This also contains symlinks to the first directory>

 

I also have FM10 but I don't use graphics for him because faces from 21/22/23 just look weird in FM10 (18 year olds with 30 year old faces…)

It had flowers on it and a light blue rim.  Apparently it was microwave friendly.

Can't you get at that data from the editor?

The son easter egg can be proc'd, by saving a day before the youth recruitment and then reloading the game till your “son” appears as a youth recruit if that's your goal.

 

I imagine your manager needs to be above a specific age though, would be a bit odd to have your 15 year old kid turn up at training if you're only 27 yourself. 

Sad to see people jumping on SI over the mods issue, it is rarely the developer that screws over fans, it is the publisher.  This will be Sega's bean counters who have barred the site from selling the game likely because they have a plan to monetise mods in the future to make us pay for inhouse graphics packs.  I always have to tell this to people when they complain about Bethesda or Rockstar trying to screw over fans when it is their publishers (Zenimax and Take-2 respectively) that want to milk gamers for every last penny.

 

Developers are gamers just like you, publishers on the other hand, are businessmen.

whenever I try and watch a game whether it be my team or another team from a different division the game crashes, if anyone has any ideas please let me know..

On a 2560x1440 monitor it's hard to read the text in those screenshots, not very user friendly in 2022.  Isn't there a way of embedding the images so that clicking on them expands them back to their default size?

It is indeed the sensible old game, I believe it's SWOS as each player had a star rating in SWOS as you can see in the avatar. I also remember that each player had three letters attached to them such as VHS or THP and I remember spending an afternoon trying to deduce what each letter stood for and V threw me a bit until I worked out that it was shot velocity. I loved SWOS, if you gave one of the unknowns in your reserves a couple of stints in the first team he would accrue a basic price tag but then if you gave him a couple more games the game would assign a value of roughly the team average and you could sell him for a small fortune.

The whole reason Windows won't let you is BECAUSE they are the same, extensions are not case sensitive so .png and .PNG are both the extension for Portable Network Graphics.

The cat in me was so intrigued at an archive requesting permission to write over itself that I scanned "sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack_12.00.rar" for duplicates and found four sets...

It seems that while NTFS won't allow two files with the same name to occupy the same location a .rar archive has no such qualms so these files sit happily right next to each other until it comes time to extract them wherein the second file in each set will require permission to overwrite the first one.

You should probably include whichever four are the most recent in an update pack just to make sure people have the newest version as I clicked "Yes to all" ensuring I have the .PNG versions but others might have clicked "No to all" in which case they will see the .png versions. Meaning two footballers will look very different on some computers.

I would also like an answer to this. An archive being extracted into a completely empty folder should never ask if you want to replace files, but this one does, how is that possible?

I still play FM17 so this might not be a thing in the latest FM but this phrase bugs the hell out of me. Is it considered poor etiquette in football management to turf out players that were just brought in by the previous gaffer or is this an oversight by SI?

Surely a player would realise he might not feature in the new guy's plans? I get why the player gets annoyed when this happens but what I don't get is the supposed confusion as to why it is happening. They were bought by the last guy, there was no pretence.. the dude had a legitimate reason for the purchase but now he is on the dole and I'm in charge... 0_O

lmao, the whole point of the download is to replace the SPL and the 3 divisions with the new SPFL setup.
