Bit of a weird one I guess, but should the latest megapack work on Ubuntu 22 + FM 2015 ? Some difference I should know about?
Logo's work just fine, but for faces I get this (in multiple skins)
The game did crash on reloading the skin, after unpacking the faces. Logo's were loaded prior to this reload. For the rest the game runs fine though.
Just got back into an old save with a custom db and I really need proper graphics to enjoy the game 😀

You can just link to the same folder in steam settings, configuring the options:
--user_data_location="your/dir/to/fm/folder"

But after some feedback and the first season which is a bit out of sync on contract endings, I chose for this solution.
I'm not a big fan of the mid-season transfer windows, but understand that it can come in handy to give an emergency solution if needed.

Well, to help with your first problem you could open the file in the editor and set them with a team in their country. I know that it is a problem that some players retire. But most of them don't and it is impossible to appoint 16,000 players a new team. But you can appoint the ones that retire offcourse. I thought I did that in the file "Released_Players_Placed".
Non-European countries can still sign players from everywhere, but as you already mentioned, I already did 55 files. 55 files where I had to remake the competition from scratch so that I could add some rules like the amount of foreigners that can play in that competition. If you have any experience with the editor, you'll know that I've worked very long to do it all, and it's anoyingly repetitve. And about the second nationality, that's something I can not change.
On that note I can say that I am doing an update on all files, corrected some mistakes and will be "placing" some more players with new clubs. Some South-American(the biggest ones) players will move back to their country. Again, I can not do all of them!
On the request of your other modifications I must say no, I don't have the need for that myself. But if you want to do so for yourself, i can not hold you back. For instance Czech Republic and Slovakia i could understand that given their common history. On the UK+Ireland deal, I can say you that players with UK or Irish nationality can play for all clubs in UK or Ireland. E.g. Bale will still be at Tottenham
And if you'd wanted to change it to 2 foreigners, you would have to change it in every file from Albania to Wales.
But if retiring players are your biggest worries, stay tuned

So you can't sign an English player? That's odd, will see into that one.
On your question, if you just select the files of those countries you can play with them.
But they wil have the no foreigner limitations unless you change it yourself in the editor( just deleting one rule, so you can do it easily)
The change in the squad registration, if you mean the no foreigners at least, is kind of the point of this database.
You could have a normal Champions League and Europa League if you deselect the file "European_Leagues", but clubs will be able to play with foreigners in those games.
