Of course... Part 13 is 1 of the 13 parts of the pack. That's why it's 60,000 in Part 13 of the whole 475,000. 

Hope I'm not mistaken about what happened: 

You don't just extract Part 13. You need all the 13 parts ready (in the same folder), and then extract the first one. The program (e.g. WinRAR, 7-Zip,…) will take care of the rest, i.e. extracts from Part 1, then picks up Part 2 automatically, and so on. 

It's like… watching a drama series. The story doesn't make sense if you start watching episode 13 first.

Do you mean: Does updating the database have an impact on your ongoing saved game? 

Just think about this: 

• In your saved game, say… you've signed Jude Bellingham for your team. So, you install the latest database… you know that he should be at Real Madrid now. What do you expect to happen in your saved game? No way he's forced to transfer back to Madrid, right?

• Or, assume that you've played your saved game till 2030 already… any update to the database here is about 2024. How can it have any impact?

• Last but not least, remember the official Winter Update a few months ago? It includes a database update after the transfer window in January. If this update could have an impact on everyone's saved game, it could cause disasters...

Basically, when creating a new game, the system creates an “instance” of the database. It's like… you play with a spare copy of the database (based on its status at the time you create the game). The “world” in your saved game is closed and moves on its own, which is independent to the database. 

Try smaller no. of players? 

Say, if you've 10,000 regen players on the list, then first try 5,000 and see if it works… If fail, then may test with 2,500. 

"One Drive"? Do you mean the path here? 

That's what I spotted earlier from your screenshot, and therefore asked you “…“Preferences” > Search for“Location”… is it pointing to the right folder? ”You replied that it's pointing to the “editor data” folder…  

Anyway, Preferences > Location > “Change Folder”?

Have you played previous FM versions before? Every version is very much the same in applying data updates and graphic packs. 

Real name fix and graphic packs are different folders… since you can't get either working, I suppose you might have mixed up something basic. 

How about skins, tactics,…? Can you load any of them up? 

Don't think it makes a difference, but may try materials from other FM sites?

So, you have things work on players, but not staff? Suppose you've much more regen players than staff… if players work, then staff should be alright too. 

Anyway, it looks like an issue of FM.Z Tools… Sorry that can't help you further, as I'm still using NewGAN Manager. 

By the way, may I ask: When you sort out the staff list, is it a way to filter out the opposite gender? 

Last time I played, I found that my physio named Sarah, who ends up have a picture of George Clooney in the profile. From then, I stopped generating faces for regen staff… 

Problem in selecting all the staff? It's always easier than selecting players, as it should be a much smaller list. 

Basically, it's the same process… just using the corresponding view file. 

Which step did you have problems? 

Why don't you just give it a try? It's quicker than waiting for an answer here. 

Well, not sure if FC United is included somewhere in the original database, and can possibly promote like this in this version. Regardless, it's game simulation, so the chance of FC United gets promoted in the 2nd season is just random… not sure how many seasons you need to wait. Of course, it's up to you to test if it still works this way. 

Anyway, why not just take control from the beginning? Try some custom database as suggested in the previous post. It's so much easier and straightforward, and you can start playing FC United right away.

For some reason some people have duplicate folders under a parent folder called “public”. I'm not sure why this is, but sometimes it can cause problems. Check if you have the files under a folder folder called “Public” or “Public Documents” and move them to the correct path instead."

Do you mean you've problems in selecting all the players on the list? 

May try the following: 

Let's take my very old computer and select a list of 89,000 players as an example… First of all, make sure everything is loaded in your list, and then: 

Select the first player and hold your mouse left button, then scroll slowly to the end of the list. You can see each player is selected on the way… (This is a challenge to hold the mouse and keep scrolling steadily.)  

OR

Click and select a player, then press Ctrl-A to select all. (It could freeze, so may need to try a few times. Anyway, in my case, it takes around 20 seconds to have everyone selected, and feels like it hangs up in the process. Be patient!)

OR

Alternatively, click and select the first player in the list, then scroll all the way down to the bottom. Press and hold the Shift key, and click the last player. (it seems to be the most reliable method so far!) 

Once you've every players selected, the export process shouldn't be an issue. Anyway: 

I managed to export all the above 89k players into a .rtf file (about 20 MB) without any error. Forgive me that I don't bother to check if everyone is on the file, but I've a brief look: The first few and the last few players are there for sure.

In FM24's original database, you can play from English Premier League, Championship,… down to Vanarama National League North and Vanarama National League South, which are the sixth tier, for English competition. 

So, if you want to go lower than 6th tier, you may have a look at some custom English Lower League database, e.g.

Did you put the files here: C:\Users\<YOUR USER NAME>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data ? 

We all do the same. That's the point of updating the database… Most of us just happen to ignore the year in the game, and treat August 2023 as August 2024. That's all… it's much simpler this way!

Not sure if I understand correctly… 

So, you expect that Burnley, Luton Town and Sheffield United are in the Premier League when you start the game… Then, when it reaches July 2024, the above teams relegate to the Championship, and Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton promote. 

Is that what you want? So, in other words, you want real life results?

Good, so it's about personal preference, never about newbies or not. 

By the way, it's nothing complicated: If you find that somebody joins another club, just fill in the blanks (e.g. new club, contract information), and submit the proof (e.g. some posts from a news website). It's even easier than posting in the forum here… 

Never mind, I'm not here to convince you for anything anyway… I just don't understand why it needs any confidence or courage at all to contribute. That's all.
