Sorry for the dumb question, but cannot find 2010 in a search. On step 1 on the DB folders, you talk about the 2000 folder and 2001 folder deleting the dbc, edt, and inc folders -- do we leave the 2010 folder alone? or do the same with it? (or is this the same as it was last year, where it only needed to be in 2 of the folders but not all 3)

Really dumb question -- your instructions above say to do this for the 1900 and 1910 folder -- do we do it for the 1901 folder as well? Or ignore it?

It's always best to use the default installation drive (C) - i know you can change it in the prefs, but it's still hit and miss if it actually works. I cant even find this option in the FM16 screens either

yeah, but if you have an SSD as your C drive and a 2TB drive as your data drive, keeping your facepacks and icons on the data drive make more sense from a storage pov. They have changed that option as well. To modify your storage folder for FM16 you have to do some special things to your start in Steam:

How To Change Your User Data Location

Even though the ability to change your User Data Location from within the game has been removed it is still possible to manually change it's location.
(NOTE: You only need to follow the below instructions if you want to move the location, these instructions aren't needed to just add content to the game if you want to just use the default location)

In FM2016 you now need to add a command line to the game launch options.

To do this follow the instructions below:

- Go into Steam -> Library -> Games view.
- Located Football Manager 2016 and right-click on the game.
- Select 'Properties'
- Click 'Set Launch Options...'
- Copy the following into the dialogue box: --user_data_location="<path>"
- In the <path> section, enter the exact path you wish the folder to be generated (ie D:\Users\ etc)

So for example if you wanted your Saving Location to be S:\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016

You would add the following text to the dialogue box:

--user_data_location="S:\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016"

So your Launch Options box should look something like this:

Note that this folder location needs to already exist on your hard drive before setting the launch option, then when you next launch FM2016 the game will automatically generate the needed subfolders (such as graphics, games and skins).

This may be an obvious comment, but figured out why mine weren't showing. FM is installed on my C drive, but my F drive is where I keep all my icons/facepics and stuff like that. I had previously moved the default folder via editing the Steam Launch to the F folder, but I guess one of the updates deleted my move -- so all of my pics and stuff weren't being shown since FM was looking in the C folder for them. Just a thought if you have your icons and pics in any folder but the original default folder.

If the above are correct and in place, move the faces folder to Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 201x > graphics. This last folder may need to be created. To repeat, this file should go into the DOCUMENTS FM folder structure and not anywhere else.

This is what the MP folder should look like:

Just a quick point for clarification for me. Should the folder be: "Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 201x > graphics > faces" OR as your screenshot shows "Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 201x > graphics > players > cutouts > megapack 7.0" ??? Or should it be "Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 201x > graphics > megapack 7.0" because if you follow the instructions on the download page "Once you've downloaded it you'll be presented with a ".zip" file. Extract this file to the following location "My Documents » Sports Interactive » Football Manager 2013 » graphics". " -- that is what will be there.

Just trying to be certain am doing it correctly.
