I see. Definitely for PC so will try it out. what about the .exe file? It still shows the latest version and i cant seem to find a way to get it back as the console trick only affects the DATA folder alone.

I'm not sure if you're on windows or mac or using steam (it's always helpful if you say this in advance).

 

But you should be able to open the steam console and type

The first number is the appid, the second is the depot id and the third is the manifest (the exact version you want). You can see dates for different manifests here: https://steamdb.info/depot/1904541/manifests/ as you can see I chose the manifest from December 1st.

 

If you're not sure how to open the steam console on a mac you can easily just copy steam://nav/console into the browser search bar and it will open.

 

On windows it might not work from the web browser in which case just open the terminal and then type steam://nav/console

 

Once you've done that you'll see something like this:

It will just sit there and you won't see any feedback that it's working but you can check your networks activity tab to confirm it is (if that confuses you don't worry just assume it is). Let it sit there for anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours depending on your internet connection.

 

It will then say “Depot Download Complete” and give the location where it saved the files.

 

Simply overwrite the existing FM files with these files. The existing FM files are usually located in:

 

Windows: Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2023\

Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2023/

 

I would suggest moving the existing files to another location somewhere safe rather than overwriting so you can move them back if something has gone wrong.

Regardless, the Fez pitch textures over at FMScout are better than these ones and you get full instructions.

yes, but he had to do that prior to the updates he cant do that retrospectively , unless you know another way?

 

this used to work, you would need to back up this -C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2023

and prior to the game being updated then once the game is updated you replaced the update with that folder

Hey guys, is launched the new version of E-Crowd and it has the following features:

• Fixed the pause system.​

• Added entrance songs for some teams from all countries (activate the OPTIONS menu to use this system).​

• Now it is possible to change the options even after starting a match.​

• With this update, you can now select your favorite team, only needing to select the opposing team when playing.​

• A new, more beautiful and intuitive layout.​

• When starting a match in E-Crowd, a menu will appear allowing you to choose the anthem of a competition to play. This menu contains a countdown and will disappear in 5 seconds.​

• New sliders that allow you to change the background crowd volume and screen brightness (these changes are saved).​

• Finally, two new leagues have been added (Spain and Italy).

The “flare effect” works like a ReShade Graphic, it stand on the screen regardless of which window is open.

I expressed myself badly....with the hd ads my ingame lag game....that's why I want to put them in sd to see if that fixes the lag of the 3d game engine

yes they were visible in hd

Hello how do you change from HD to SD please ? what should be done if you can help me and be more specific ?  @metal7 @Bielsa is a Legend 

I have black adboards as well.  Can't figure out how to fix it.  My file structure is like post 16.  Any thoughts?

Seems to do

Open FM 23 Editor, File, Load editor, look for the file, ok, save the editor.

If you download the complete pack here, you will get the most up to date version, since you're a premium member. So then it's easier if you delete the version you have now first and just replace it. A new update will probably be released tomorrow, so you might want to wait for that to save yourself the time of needing to replace the files again.
