Those instructions are for both PC and Mac.

You may have got confused by the word “console” in the instructions this is also commonly referred to as “terminal” or “command prompt” (see wikipedia).

It has nothing to do with a “games console” such as an xbox or playstation.

If you read the instructions again it should be clear that these are instructions for PC and Mac.

Thanks for the input but what about the .exe file? It still shows the latest version and i cant seem to find a way to get it back as the console trick only affects the DATA folder alone? Is the match engine not also influenced by the .exe too??? Im trying this with FM24 as the latest update broke my save and want to revert back to previous version.

I didn't know about that way maybe that works only works for console, does it work for pc?. I'm on steampc. So simply backup the football manager 2023 folder from the old patch save it in a location before it gets updated/patched. The updated football manager folder 2023, simply delete and replace it with the old patch football manager folder in the commons/data folder, then play steam in offline mode so it doesn't automatically update. Nothing complicated and always works, I've helped a lot of users including the OP revert back to M.E 23.2.2 using this method which is pre winter update patch(which I think is the most balanced version), I've also got the beta version and 23.1.0 version and it's the same method every time

you would have to replace the graphics
or in this case add it to the skin
graphics\buttons\custom\status

Thanks that worked. My second issue is how can i address this screen during a match? Everything is jumbled together on the right side of the screen. Screen resolution is 1440p.

Hi guys and thanks for this file but i am having puzzling issues. First time i tried this, i own by a huge margin and 2 more games after this, then thats it. I have been on a barren spell for quite some time and i have even replaced the file quite a few times in order to re enact how good my team played the first time but its not working again. I use the epic version of FM2020 as the steam version i have never ever showed partnership lines but epic version does. FM has been set to offline mode to counter any future updates but still my team has been crappy and hardly making any impact in games anymore despite replacing the physical constraints file again and again. Does training have an impact on how this file works? forgive me but i am usually the type that likes to watch games than use instant results and im using 2d as my potato laptop cant run 3d anymore
