There is a way, but it'll take you a bit of time. Read this thread and follow the steps outlined inside. Although they refer to FM13, the steps are broadly similar.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I've spent about an hour looking... but is there a way to have the default FM faces override the ones in the facepacks? I love having faces instead of the 'shadow' pics, but would also much prefer to have official updated player pics. Good examples are Rugani, Dybala, Sturaro at Juventus. The default images on FM without the facepack are updated, but when I install my facepack, they go back to older pictures. Spent all of yesterday making sure I was updated with the right packs and updates. Cheers!
