Hey guys

 

Just wondering if everyone is having the same ‘issue' where Man Utd and European clubs' nicknames aren't showing up on the club site section.  All the other English teams are showing up fine, just the ones mentioned.

 

I know it's only a small thing but it's bugging me haha, so interested to know if this is something that others have noticed.

Yes we've nine FM26 Megapacks already available a few days now on FMG mate. I'm sure most will be released here shortly.

 

However, the woman's teams will be in the next few updates but were working on it. We're only discovering the ID's now so it takes some time. 

 

There is a possibility I will have to upload the megapacks again to fix the issues though.

 

Legend, thanks!  Excuse my naivety, but when I click to download the standard megapack, it takes me here - do I just download the initial 2025.00 file then each of the update ones in turn?  Apologies for the stupid question!

No, it just resolves the issue with certain logos as I mentioned in my previous post. You will still have several competition logos not working.

 

La Liga being one of them.

 

Tagging you to a post to flag I've asked you mate (unrelated to the above), but are you in the process of creating the FMG classic megapack for FM26 that includes women's teams?

Have you edited the config file? If not, all you need to do is duplicate one of the entries and change the numbers to the Milan women's. It can be done using Notepad on Windows.

 

I have not mate.  Where is the config file located?  I've opened the ones in ‘editor data’ and ‘games’ but I get a weird message when I open it (I'm using a Mac so opened it in the Notepad equivalent.  Thanks for your help 😊

Hey everyone, I wondered if anyone could help me here please.  I have just tried copying and pasting the AC Milan's bage (ID 1099) to the AC Milan Women logo (ID 2000169149), but after multiple restarts, nothing is appearing (I'm still getting the default logo).  Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?  Cheers!

No, nothing is wrong here. Competitions have both a long and a short name. The long name is the full blown sponsored name - in this case Sports Direct Premiership. The short name, as it suggests, is a shorter version of the name. In this case NIFL Premiership (which makes more sense than putting it as something like SD Premiership).

 

The game uses the long name in some places and the short name in others which tends to reflect real-life usage where the terms Sports Direct Premiership and NIFL Premiership are used interchangeably depending on where and how they are being used.

 

If you open the file Competitions and other Fixes.lnc which is one of the files included in the download in Notepad (or any text editor) and scroll aaaaaalllllll the way down to Northern Ireland you will see the lines:

 

"COMP_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 130023 "Sports Direct Premiership" ""
"COMP_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" 130023 "NIFL Premiership" ""

 

If you wish, you can overtype either of those names with anything you want then save it and whatever you have decided for the new names will appear in-game, but if you do this, just remember that you'll have to do it every time you download a new version of the Real Name fix (and there are generally a number of new versions released for each iteration of the game).

Hi @mons - thanks for this fix, it's awesome. Sorry if I've missed this post somewhere above, but do these changes affect the hot fixes that are being released and downloaded? i.e. does it stop the match engine improvements etc.?

Apologies if this is a stupid question!
