Happy Birthday Susie!

 

I still remember upon the FM2005 launch, we met with Dave in London at the SI offices for the website owners' meeting. We went there to gather material for the new game series. I was working with Mark on The Dugout at the time and me being from Northern Finland and for the first time meeting someone from Scotland, it was quite the language storm to understand what Dave said. I had no problems with the Swedes, Norwegians, SI staff and such, but oh man Dave. He twisted my ear so bad 😀

 

I think I still have the Oliver Collyer signed copy of my FM2005 and CM03/04.

 

As for Susie. I do remember the rapid rise to be amongst the big sites in the community. I had been in the scene since about 1996 (until 2008-09) and it was amazing to see how well put together Susie was. I remember the FM2007 website layout and how I was just in awe of how it looked.

Oh I'm no specialist on this, but here's a quick one (I have not checked if you have these already so watch out for duplicates):

 

• LaLiiga.com (Spanish La Liga online source)

• Helsingin Sanomat/HS.fi (general football online and offline source, based in Helsinki)
• YLE (same as above, but is country wide)
• Arvokisat.com (international football source mainly, but covers also club football)
• MTVuutiset.fi (general news, major Finnish TV broadcaster)
• Iltasanomat.fi (I think i saw this already, but same as above)
• Iltalehti.fi (same as the two above)
• Huuhkajat.com (Finnish national team media outlet)

 

There are of course many local papers and sources that cover big parts of the country. If you want more, just pm me and I'll get you something or at least the biggest ones. PM because I simply didn't get a notification or anything, hence the delay.

If you got a list of Finnish media, get me a list and I'll have them updated with you.

Got this yesterday and it's very nice.

Two things though:

1. The club info view shows favoured personnel, legends and icons. It shows favoured on top though which I found logically wrong so I fixed it myself, but hope you understand what I mean and fix it too 🙂
2. The issue RetroKid mentioned as well with the backgrounds. Yes, you can change the background from the button. But is there a way to make one of the backgrounds a default? Sure it's not a big thing to change it whenever exiting preferences or opening the game, but I'm curious as how to do it 🙂

Just noticed something int he media files. Urheilukanava no longer exists. Hasn't existed in 10 or so years 🙂

There are plenty of new Finnish news outlets though, as you'd expect in this day and age.

I had a similar problem with FM20. I'm used to having my computer on 24/7 so I also tend to have my FM on as well. The problem I had was that the game just started crashing after about 3 days. Whenever about 72 hours was up, the game crashed. I had a look at it with SI and they suggested the basic steps, but none of it worked.

I'm glad I haven't had the issue with FM22 so far. I mean 72 hours is quite long on its own, but it's still an issue with the game that I wasn't able to resolve, a modded FM20 or not. And I sure as hell wasn't going to re-install my Windows as they suggested 🙂

Since it's a .fmf file, I presume you place the file in My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\editor data\. Then when starting a new save, you tick the file to be loaded.

Nevermind, I figured the e-mail used with the account and changed stuff around.

I was just trying to add my Steam account to my profile and it seems my previous account (Daigle) already has it in use. Also when I tried to change my username to Daigle, it naturally couldn't happen.

I had to create this new profile back in the day because I couldn't remember my password and the e-mail used to retrieve it. If it's my @thedugout.net e-mail used with it, then there's no way for me to reset it.

So I'm just wondering if my previous account could be deleted, merged or whatever with this one. I now it's an odd request, but I'm just trying to get the most out of my FM and Susie website

I really like this skin. Excellent job with it Ethan!
A bit of feedback though:

- The role suitability icons are a not as distinctive from each other as they should and there seem to be icons for them in the folder structure that seem more proper for the use. (FusionDB Skin 2020 CLASSIC -DARK- v0.4\graphics\icons\custom\role rating\circular)
- Timeline during the match is missing.
- Team talk button backgrounds are transparent. Not a big nuisance, but maybe a bit of background color would be nice. (hand over to assistant and end team talk buttons)
- Perhaps change the places between favoured personnel and icons in club info profile view so it's a bit more logical order. (legends > icons > favoured personnel)
- Not sure if this is a SI problem, but in competitions view the league table is always cut off and has a scroll bar. And right below it are the top team player stats. I don't know why it can't be pushed to the bottom to clear more room for the league table in order to eliminate the scroll bar. (I'm using FHD resolution and 85% zoom)
- Average attendance and Squad Personality don't show their values in club info's profile view..

Great looking skin. Some of the headings and the content in boxes need some "padding".

Below's a screenshot of the club info view. I pointed arrows to the headings and also the content boxes where it clearly shows that the text is probably a bit too much on the left.

I love the skin, but I do have a small suggestion.
Would it be possible to have a bit more details in the club info view? I really miss the simple club details view where you can quickly see the following info in condensed space:

- league playing in + country
- position
- media prediction
- year founded
- professional status
- finances (rich/secure etc)
- national reputation
- estimated value
- youth and training facilities levels
- average attendance
