You need to copy and overwrite the faces and the new config file from the update pack into the faces folder.

It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Jojo - I'm stumped - everything looks correct, so my only other advise would be to either;
a) Clear the FM Cache
b) As you say download 5.3 again and try it again...although I can't see what would be different..

Alternatively I just saw the thread about how to search with player ID (which I have now added in my preferences). How easy is it to load individual player faces in (e.g. for players at my club)? It would be enough for me to just 'see' my current players and new signings when I make them.

I agree and I do love these player packs. So if I clear the cache I don't need to do anything else?
Edit: I don't get any App Data option. I see a Roaming option but that doesn't take me to the next options lists.

OK, best thing to clear up any doubt is to do the following....
1) Go to - My documents/Sports interactive/Football Manager 2013/graphics/faces/megapack 5.03 - you will prob need to create the last three yourself (right mouse click>Create new folder)
2) Move the ENTIRE contents of the downloaded & unzipped megapack folder (from wherever you extracted to, desktop hopefully) INTO your newly created Megapack folder in the location above.
When you unzip the Megapack folder it gives you extra folders which basically just refer to sortitoutsi, but you only need the ACTUAL Megapack folder contents.

Apologies for not having answered you before but I seem to have missed your post.
You should be able to ignore any error messages displayed and complete the extraction process. Is there an OK button you can press to proceed? If not, what happens when the error message above is displayed? Also, what is the total file size of the file you are attempting to extract?

Have you tried downloading the latest update pack and applying it? Remember, you should have one folder and one folder only with all the 122k+ images in it and the config.xml file.
Also, I can't seem to find what exactly your problem seems to be? Are you getting an error message or is it just the case that the images aren't showing?

Thanks for getting back to me, The total size of the file is 5.33GB, and when the error messages come up the only options i get is close, Break Operation or copy to clipboard, when i click close it ends the extracting process and it only extracts 55,711 files, which in size 2.63GB

I have the latest version of winrar, i have just tried extracting it on another computer and it completed without any errors however i only got 118,500 files which is about 4,000 images less than what i should be getting

I can try and load the latest pack, but know this will take time and I am not sure if I will remember how I did it last time. I din't want to waste that time if it was not likely to make it all OK. I assume I don't need to remove the 5.2 version and just start from scratch with 5.3?
My main problem was that after loading the pack, I got loads of great new images, but many of my existing team (Copenhagen) that had images suddenly lost theirs. Some have nothing on view and some players have 'the face shadow outline'. Another example that makes me think I have done something wrong is that my own team (Reading) have virtually no faces when I look at them.
The megapack is fantastic and the efforts are truly appreciated, I just haven't been able to benefit from it properly, which is a tad disappointing.

I've a problem with the graphics in my FM2013, since the moment that i applied the facepack and the logo pack my game crashes everytime i start a match.. and example, i'm playing with FC Porto and i will with SL Benfica, i chose the player's and all the other things, but the game crashes rigth before the match start's
I try to elminate the all the graphics pack and the games works perfectly, then i put back the graphics and the game start's crashing again
Can someone help me ???
