This file expands the US league system in FM2020. The purpose is to replicate real life.
MLS - The default 2020 expansion (Inter Miami and Nashville SC) is still in the game. Added are the 2021 (Austin FC and Charlotte) and 2022 (Sacramento Republic and Saint Louis) expansions. All default rules and drafts are still in the game.
USL Championship - Activated and playable, includes all current teams, future expansions, and retractions.
USL League One - Activated and playable, includes all current teams, future expansions, and retractions.
NISA - Activated and playable, includes all current teams, future expansions, and retractions. Also replicates the changing league formats
NCAA - All 207 college teams arranged into the 2020 conference alignment. Real life format is included, including:
-Teams will play a 7-match "exhibition" spring schedule.
-Regular season kicks off in August, and will consist of the correct number of conference matches and non-conference matches to fill out a 17-match schedule.
-Conference Tournament champions earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament. The three conferences without a conference tournament send their regular season champion
-NCAA Championship is a 48-team tournament with 24 automatic bids and 24 at large bid seeded according to their reputation
-The MLS SuperDraft will pull players from the NCAA, just as in real life
USL League Two - Correct teams and format as in real life
US Open Cup - All expansion teams eligible for the cup will join the competition in 2020. This means some teams who won't start play until 2021 or later will be in the cup, but unfortunately this is a limitation with the editor that cannot be circumvented without messing up US continental qualification.
Academy - With the announcement of the folding of the US Soccer Development Academy and the resulting creation a competition for the MLS Academies, I have created the MLS Academy division and a USL Academy competition for the USL professional clubs.
There is also a division created so the player can take control of expansion teams who will not be participating in leagues to start the game. This allows the player to build their squad to prepare them to begin play.
Preseason Tournaments - The file also includes several preseason exhibition tournaments from real life that MLS teams compete in to prepare for the season.

Small question, did you create new clubs for this update or does it consist of all excisting teams in new competitions?
Uncle Sam
There no "fantasy" clubs in the update. The clubs I created are all based on real life teams. I did take some liberties with clubs who have not yet announced their branding. For those clubs I found concepts from various sources online.

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this.
It will need to be saved over the sortitoutsi fix. It's a modified version of the SI fix, so the only difference is that when using my file the NCAA and the NCAA conferences will all have the correct name.
Uncle Sam
-Version 3.3 of the database update file and graphics file have been added to the original post (first response post for the graphics file)
Change List
-Mostly a graphics update as all 2020 kits (SS and 3D) and colors have been added for the USL Championship, USL League One, and National Independent Soccer Association.
-Worked with the schedules for USL Championship and League One in an attempt to alleviate fixture congestion

Please do us a favor and request the changes made to the SI fix here if they apply for the normal database : https://sortitoutsi.net/downloads/view/50426/fm2020-licensing-and-real-name-fix-file-v01-for-fm20-beta-awaiting-release
So that everybody can enjoy real names in the United States leagues
Uncle Sam
Thanks for touching base, however my modifications to the Susie competition real names fix isn't adding names to default competitions. I made changes to the names file because I edited competitions in the database. I'll try to explain it as briefly and as well as possible. In real life, the MLS SuperDraft pulls players from NCAA Soccer. However, FM cannot include NCAA soccer by default due to licensing, amateur rules, etc. Instead, FM has the MLS Superdraft pull players from the USL League Two. So what I have done with my database file is to edit the USL League Two divisions into NCAA conferences while recreating the USL League Two division. This way FM will have the MLS SuperDraft pull from the NCAA just like in real life. If someone uses my database file and the Susie Real Names fix WITHOUT my modifications, then the names of the NCAA conferences will not be correct.

Been wanting to start a game in the lower echelons of the US system for a while.
Uncle Sam
Hello sir. It's been a long time. I need to pop into the forums more.
Poe
It has indeed. Hope you're well.
I need to get on more myself, in fairness.

Hi there,
Can you confirm whether this would work with the Windows (PC) version of Football Manager Touch 2020, or just the ‘full fat’ version of the game i.e.: Football Manager 2020.
Many thanks
Uncle Sam
I'm sorry, I honestly can't say for sure. I play the full version, I've never played FM Touch. Someone else would have to answer that.

You can leave them seperately and put them in the editor data folder and it should work.
Ive been playing in the Ivy League, took charge of Yale.
My aim is to be managing in the MLS in 5 years.

-Version 3.4 of the database update file
Change List
-Chicago Sting FC removed (USL has finally admitted that is apparently dead)
-Worked with the USL Championship and USL League One schedules again
-Cleaned up a bizarre minor issue with the DB file
Notes: With the USL schedules, I think the issue was that the USA Nation rules has a league break for big friendlies from July 15 to Aug 30 for MLS, but for whatever reason it was applying to the USL and USL1 also. MLS avoids having NO games during that time by having a list of midweek dates that are always used during that period so I mimicked that a little bit for the USLs. TL;DR version - I think I fixed it.
The bizarre minor issue was that I had duplicated all of the competition rules. Didn't seem to affect anything, but it should at least run smoother now.
Canada_Soccer
how can I integrate the logos into my game? There is no description.

No.
There aren't any similar files on the site yet for FM21. You may be luckier if you check on Steam Workshop đź‘Ť

Any chance this could be basically redone for FM23? id like to have how the current structure is in real life now and the changes that will happen in the next year but just have them all active and playable.
Cheers
