In a config file, to display a logo you can use an ID number or a name, for example here I can use:
<record from="u21c" to="graphics/pictures/comp/under 21s cup/logo"/>
And even though I haven't quoted the ID for the Under 21s Cup, the logo will still show in the game, so I'm happy. Or half happy, because I want to change the name as well.
However, I can't get the same logic to apply in an .lnc file:
"COMP_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" under 21s cup "Barclays U21's Cup" ""
I've tried the above with and without speech marks around under 21s cup and with and without capital letters. Can anyone tell me if I'm bashing my head against a brick wall here, or just missing something obvious?
Alternatively, does anyone know how to find the competition ID for this? I believe it is dynamically assigned when your game starts, but in previous versions of FM (up to FM2012 or 13) you could still see the ID if you chose to display it in the title bar so once you had your save running you could create your lnc with ease.
Really grateful for any advice and guidance.
Many thanks
