Sportpark Lindenberg - Weimar - (background picture) and about it the higher image i can found is this one but is rejected when I try to insert it as a background image because it exceeds the required limits

 

 

When making a submission/request the picture has to be .jpg and in the right size (and make sure to find the biggest source otherwise the quality will not be good enough to be add to the pack) 👍

i have downloaded the backgrounds megapack and correct saved it at the graphics carpet, and then reloaded the preferences at the game, but i still have problems. For example it doesn't appear the stadium image, it's happears a red shadow instead, and in the players profil, it doesn't appear the player´s background it appears a city's photo in the back. How can i fix it?

It depends on how you want to do it. If you just download the full file from the download page then your good and don't need anything else. If you want to use the torrent then you have to download (and apply) all the updates after you have installed the torrent version and remove some files (one folder) as well. 

 

I have only downloaded the patch that weighs 21.93 Gb

Habe mir das Backgrounds Megapack heruntergeladen. Habe das ganze Entpackt und jetzt habe ich da 8 Unterornder (competition_backgrounds, continent_backgrounds, ..) Verwende den Skin von Andromeda. In welchen Pfad muss ich diese Bilder koperien?? Beim 20er Manager habe ich nur Stadion Backgrounds und CityPics gehabt. Da hat alles geklappt. Vielleicht kann mir wer weiter helfen.

Put the “sortituotsi backgrounds” folder here : Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\graphics

so that all the subfolders are in the “sortituotsi background” folder. 

 

it is important that all the sub folders are in the same folder as the config.

Yes it look right. Only thing that looks strange is the date of the config file (13-11-2020). You need to use the one that comes with the pack 👍

 

And how have you download the pack? If you have used the torrent , you need to apply all the updates here:

 https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/style/17/google-earth-stadium-backgrounds

 

that will give you the most recent config and you can delete the folder called “team_background” as it is o longer used.

Vielen Dank. Das ist die Config File die beim Gesamt Paket dabei war. Bei anderen Skins funktioniert es anscheinend. Weil bei Andormeda sieht man die Spieler-Hintergründe, Stadion und Stadt Bild nicht.

Bei OPZ Elite funktionert es. Siehe Bilder

Geht doch mit Andromeda. Den Cache musste ich leeren dann hat es geklappt.

thanks for the help the configurator workes a treat but im still stuggling adding a 2ND stadium pic im using the flut skin drak where you can have a 2 pic normal 1 inside the stadium another outside the stadium i dont want to use a new background mega pack because off all the changers ive made

ive manger to add the top picture but not the bottom one

Here is my problem, merged/moved all updates to my documents dir but i don't know what next about root XML files? latest XML file is smaller then “original” one (megapack)… Have to unpack updates to another directory or what? Sorry for this silly question!

Edit: I don't know how the game engine working but i'm assuming when i put update files into another directory (for example: put torrent files into “original” directory and put update files into “original+update1” directory) gonna work! :)

Okay here is how it works:

 

First you must have the stadiums in two different folders. One for “stadiumbackgrounds” and one for “stadiumsinside”. All stadiums must be named after stadium id.

 

Then when using the the graphips configurator you start with the “stadiumbackgrounds”, thats the easy one. Just choose stadium under backgrounds and drag the folder on to the app. It then makes a config for all stadiums in that folder with config lines that looks like this:

 

<record from="xxxx" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/xxxx/background"/>

 

Then on to the “stadiumnside”. You go through the same process and drag the folder on to the app and choose the the stadium background. You then have to open (edit) the config that the app has made. Press Ctrl+h and replace “background” with stadium (press replace all). Then your config should have lines that look like this :

 

<record from="xxxx" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/xxxx/stadium"/>

 

Then reload your fm and it should all be good.

If the stadium/city/player is already part of the pack you can just replace the picture in the right folder. If the stadium/city/player is not part of the pack then you can not just add the picture to the right folder, a config line needs to be added as well for the game to pick up the graphics.

 

So in any case I would suggest that you submit your pictures here, so that everybody can enjoy your update, and you dont have to learn how o make configs sinse the picture will be part of next update if accepted :

I'm more than happy to send some images of the grounds but i'm not sure it would add to the pack as some of the clubs have been created on editor…When I create a line in config it still isn't picking up the pictures. But here's one i know isn't in the pack but the club are on the game. English Level 10 Worsbrough Bridge FC.

Since I erased all the graphics files from previous FMs when deleting the games, I needed to download them again.

 

I was able to download all the files pretty quickly, however, the background pack is estimated between 1 and 2 days, which is very abnormal, bc I live in South Korea.

 

It even stopped halfway during the first attempt.

Any solutions to download this background pack faster than how it is now?

Use chrome, then you can resume the download if it is interrupted. Otherwise you will just have to let it download over night, it takes me 2-3 hours to download the complete pack 👍.

 

So coming with the FM20 pack and downloading all the subsequent update files from last year & this year to complete the pack and adding them in has caused my folder to look like this… I think the changes with the project from FM20 to FM21 have definitely caused some redundancies maybe?. I just wanna know do I need to merge some of these folders or delete some which are possibly useless now? I don't have the time to sort through all the discussions to know what goes where so any clarity on that would be appreciated.

Delete the hole thing and download the full pack. That is bye far the easiest solution.
