New "South America" FM24 Transfer Update for leagues that don't follow the August - May Football Calendar

We now two Data Updates available for FM24 our Default Transfer Update and a dedicated South America Transfer Update.

With our Default Data Update you'll find that all players contracts and even their age have been extended by one year to make it more realistic. But it's not more realistic for saves that start in 2024 such as Brazil and Argentina in South America or Nordic countries like Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Why is it called the South America update and not something that incorporates all the countries that don't follow the August to May football calendar?    

Honestly, I was mostly on Brazil at first since this is the community that have been most focal. When I remembered the other countries it was 1) a little late and 2) I couldn't think of a nice name for it.

FAQ

Do I need to download both?

NO! Do not download both and do not have both installed.

I've installed both by accident!

If you have downloaded and installed both the easiest things to do is just delete all the files 

Just be careful not to select all the files called “sorttitoutsi” because you might also delete the Real Name Fix and if you do you'll want to get that back.

What if i'm playing in one of those countries but starting in early 2023

Then by all means, use the default data update. The new data update is only designed for people who are starting in early 2024.
