Dawson goal was offside.

City should've scored at least 3 in first half too

The Dawson goal was offside, no question

It was. It's irrelevant, though, 'cos it shouldn't have been a free-kick. Yaya didn't even foul Rose.

The offside goal was contentious but the red card/ penalty decision was awful. Spurs had no chance from then on in.

Yaya did foul him though, with his trailing leg. Soft but still a foul.

BT had a half hour wankfest over the offside goal, then Sherwood just came out and killed it by saying it was offside \o/

I'm not sure about the penalty itself but the red card was very harsh.

It was never a penalty. Rose comes round the side and wins the ball as clear as day, Dzeko does down after the contact is made. It wasn't like he scissored him either.

I'm undecided because I've seen two angles, one in which it looks clean as a whistle and the other in which it looks like he takes him down after he wins the ball. I can see why the assistant flagged for it.

In fairness, Rose's shin hit Dzeko's right foot before he got the ball. Still unlucky though

Didn't even need to touch it, he was offside just by challenging for it

I entirely forgot about Adebayor's part in that 'goal' until MOTD

First time looking at that challenge live it looks a penalty, but not a penalty in the slow motion replay.

I can see why he was sent off if you're giving that as a penalty.

Not sure it is a penalty though, but its closer than people have made it sound.

Adebayor goes down a bit easy but it's probably a penalty.

Not a penalty the Rose one, good tackle.

Mourinho talking bollocks....if he wants to talk about 19th century tactics (which isn't even accurate, didn't teams play like 2-3-5 back then?) maybe someone should point out his tactics away to Man Utd and Arsenal this season. Good result for Big Sam and West Ham though cos, like Number 1 said earlier, Big Sam's away tactics aren't exactly always spot on.

Back in the late 1800's I think teams basically played eight forwards and it was seen as a weakness if you passed the ball to a teammate.

Regarding the penalty, I just saw this on Twitter:

Looks like a penalty to me, with the contact on Dzeko's back leg.

Chelsea weren't really that bad against Arsenal. Closer to winning the game than they were.
Either way, Mourinho is just being his usual self, hardly a surprise to anyone.

Also, I read that the quote "I can't criticise too much, because maybe I would have done the same" came before the one that's being reported everywhere.

Remy ban appeal rejected, while Bradley Johnson succeeded.

What a fucking joke.

EDIT: Saying that, it was amusing that Norwich fans' general reaction is "Damn Johnson's not banned"

What's their reasoning for Remy being banned and Johnson getting away with it?
