Pre season results



Went on tour to China and won all of our matches, which was good to see we're banging goals in.

Completely baffled by our 5-2 loss to Trabzonspor , We went 2-0 up and all of sudden we was playing like shit. They took 5 shots and all went in

We brought in decent players and I'm pleased we signed most of them on free

Jon McGonigle - free. Was released by Chivas USA last season so I snapped him up while he was still free agent. Promising player.



Noé Meyer - free - Released by PSG in the summer, As I want to add French players to the team, back up to our midfielders.



Jakub Zelnicek - 120K - I have been chasing him for a while when I was at Ajax. They wanted around 10-20M for him and surprisingly they wanted 120K for him Definitely a bargain.



Ali Ndongala - free. Just got released few weeks back by Anderlecht. Looks promising and hoping to turn him into International player for Belgium. Will play him couple games this season.



Marc Richard - free. Massive coup for us and will be our no 1 keeper. He repeatedly turned down Monaco offer on new contract and let his contract run down and left, Pleased to see he signed for us.



Out

Decided to cash in on Gomis and our captain, Gonalons. As their contracts due to run out at end of the season so cashed them in. Got 30M from Ajax for Merlo.




Have been busy revamping up our backroom staff


My new assistant manager I actually signed him in 2019 when I was at Ajax as reserves assistant manager. Pirlo priced himself out of rejoining me as he wanted 15K p/w when I only can offer 12K. So I went back to Ajax and snapped up Grosso.

Feeder club - We have added Frontale from Japan to boost our merchandise. The club made 6.3M from merchandising last season. We have made 1.1M so far, hoping to smash that 6.3M.

July/August 2020



Absolutely crazy month with so many games

We face Xanthi in Europa League 3rd Qualifying Round. Decided to start Bourgeois up front in our 4-2-3-1 formation and he put us in front on 7th minutes with a close range header. Grenier double our lead, after they failed to clear Moerno's cross. They bizarrely headed it across the 6 yards box which Grenier headed it in. Allione put us in 3-0. Bourgeois put him through one on one with the keeper and slammed it into bottom corner. Got his 2nd goal of the night 6 minutes later, Grenier set him up with through ball pass, beating his man to score outside 6 yards box. Massively dissapointed with the goal we conceded. The player should have not been on the pitch as he was booked and yet officials kept warning him as he kept fouling our players

We faced them again a week later, Allione has amazing game for us by bagging hat trick with goal from Rose.

We kicked off our season in the league with a 3-0 win over Stade Rennais. Allione put us ahead after Bourgeois's shot was parried into his direction inside the box to score. An own goal from their goalkeeper double our lead after Allione's shot hit him and went in the net. Bourgeois got his goal in 2nd half with a header.

Disappointed not to beat Lille, We was heading for 3 points til 81st minutes where Lindsay Rose lapse in concentration and let their forward get the equalising goal

Fantastic win over Racing Lens, I started with Bourgeois up front. He got us in front with 2 goals within a minute. I took him off at half time as he was struggling with his fitness. Replaced him with Morata, he got an hat trick in 2nd half He could have got more than 3.

Was drawn against Strum Graz, Played Morata up front this time. His brace got us in a good position for our 2nd leg.

Tough game of the month against Bordeaux, Bourgeois put us ahead with a close range header on 25th minutes. He also got his 2nd goal of the night with another header from Grenier's corner to give us 2-0. We conceded on 74th minutes but we managed to hold on in the end.

Bourgeois got us the only goal against Strum Graz. Not alot to say about this match.

We came from behind to beat FC Nantes. Fatigue definitely comes into this match. Morata and Bourgeois got a goal apiece.



Europa League Group



Fairly good draw for us, I expect us to finish top of the group. HSV probably will cause us problems.

September 2020



Our defence was really poor against Harve. We went behind on 5th minutes after we didn't deal with their cross and their striker put it in the back of the net. To make things worse, Javi Manquillo gave away a free kick and immediately he ended up flicking ball into our own net to give them 2 goals lead. Bourgeois got us a goal on 44th minutes to give us a chance heading into half time. He then level the score on 54th minutes by getting the end of Allione's cross to score. Eventually got us the winner on 84th minutes to the fans delight. Was put through by Comelles's pass and beat him marker to blast it into the goal to give us the win.

We face Slovan Liberec, we couldn't find our way past them despite dominating the first half, Comelles broke the deadlock on 71 minutes. He received a pass from Ndongala, outside the box and beat two players as he ran into the box to put the ball in the net to give us the lead. Allione put the game to bed in added time with shot from Bourgeois flicked on Comelles's cross to the back post which Allione slammed it home to finish the game 2-0.

Lost my cool at the team at full time against Stade Reims even we won 3-2. We raced to 3-0 up heading into half time. 2nd half was utterly pathetic and we didn't even attempt to score and we gifted them 2 goals and they could have snatched a draw in the end. PATHETIC.

Much better performance against Montpellier HSC. Captain Grenier put us in front on 20th minutes, heading in Comelles's cross. Grenier doubled our lead, 6 minutes later, converting Comelles another cross into the net inside the box. Bourgeois got his goal after getting the end of Comelles's cross across the goal to slide it into the net to give us the win.

A penalty from Raphael Holzhauser on 16th minutes was good enough to come back with 3 points. We was poor and probably was lucky to escape with 3.



No surprise to see Monaco won all of their games so far.

October 2020



A 5th minute goal from Comelles saw us beat HSV in Germany. They was all over us in 2nd half and good to see our defence did a cracking job.

Goals from Grenier, Comelles, Allione and penalty from Holzhauser saw us beat my old club, OGC Nice.

A boring draw against FC Lorient.

Completely destroyed Rangers and could have scored more than 4.

First defeat in 16 games. We was really unlucky to lose as we was beaten by Stanciu's free kick on 64th minutes I have no complaint about us losing as they were the better side. We could have nicked a point at death as Bourgeois hit the post.

November 2020



We saw off Rangers thanks to brace from Bourgeois

Caen couldn't cope with our attacking plans and Allione picked them off with 2 goals and Rose getting one from corner.

Massively delighted to grab a point against PSG. We actually went ahead on 55th minutes after Allione converted Henry Ogunleye 's cross into the net to give us the lead. We conceded 9 minutes later from corner

Morata's hat trick guided us to win over Slovan Liberec.

We went behind against Toulouse FC after their forward skinned Rose to put them ahead. Allione level the score from the spot on 59th minutes after Rose was fouled in the penalty area. Allione got us the winner after they failed to clear our corner which ended up in the 6 yards box and Fofana pulled it back for Allione, to slam it home.
