@wgcbbb Why are you trying to cut a 8 years old pic?

The lighting is terrible and it's definitely not better than the current cut.

Not bad @boatbie, but using remove.bg will retain a bit more of the hair details 😉

In case you weren't aware of it, it's a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons.

If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

Cut not too long ago, and this source is half in shadow, so not an improvement.

Too small, and I'm sure larger sources are available.

I want to use this photo in the game! Please do it

This forum is only to produce images to be use with the default database, for which we want images which are reasonably recent. Being so old, it's not worth the time to cut. Going by this site, it seems to be from the 2015/16 season, so you can use the 8.08 megapack cut from that time.

Alternatively, why don't you consider giving it a go yourself instead of depending on others to do it? You'd get to see it in your game that way.

This thread contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element.

I would recommend using remove.bg, which is a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons.
