You're right, the current cutout is from a 2016 source and I think the source requested here is from 2017. I found this source from August 2019 but it's too small/low quality - perhaps @mons chose the current cutout because the hairstyle is at least similar?

I have no idea where this was added from, maybe one of maxtod's recent Italian packs. I just thought it looked better looking straight ahead rather than from the side. I tried cutting that one now but it's not really an improvement

He signed for a Maltese club last summer before moving to his current Italian club two months later, so I thought it was possible that you'd chosen the current cutout yourself
Just realised I didn't quote @Cizzu in my above post
I know he did, ye of little faith, but he left in the summer after having played in Europe for his Maltese club. I didn't manage to find a decent source then and he stayed here for so brief a period, they hadn't even taken their photoshoot
If I had found one, it'd probably have been cut and added to the megapack in the summer. I like to keep the Maltese database's cut as full and as up-to-date as I can
