he doesnt want his photo to appear, he just want to remove this erroneous one as it also appear on google and already sent a couple of email you through his lawyer to solicit you.

Just a random passerby and I am not too sure about the situation here. It seems like the English is kind of broken here so may I ask which of the following is the situation here?

1. The photo is indeed Mr. Ezio Castriota, and he does not want this photo to appear in this pack and google images search, therefore you are trying to get this photo down through a lawyer.

2. The photo is not Mr. Ezio Castriota, and he is pissed about the fact that we got it wrong, so wanted google and this site here to remove the picture through a lawyer.

And surely I think having a lawyer to ask for a picture to get removed on a fan-made site seemed a bit too much? It was not like it is nudes or anything. (No offense on this intended, but I am just curious that was that technically illegal for someone to upload faceicons like this without permission, since we have something called fair use and such)

You can just type the name of Mr Ezio Castriota to check he's not the guy in the picture.

If you were someone known to the public would you be happy to have as outcome on the google research a photo that does not represent you?

So nude or not, it's just not him, and it is easy to check this, and the photo shall be removed as already asked a couple of times.

Alright sure, since technically this site is made by fans uploading pictures, if it was the first case I mentioned then it would make all of us at risk of facing legal matters. To prevent any misunderstanding I would have to ask.

I'm afraid that typing the name of Mr Ezio Castriota on Google doesn't bring me anything which confirms he's not the guy in the picture. It's not so easy to check it, in fact, despite what you say.

Whoever cut it originally might have made a mistake, but other people show on Google when you type my real-life name, and I don't go around asking people to remove those entries. These things happen. A Google Image search displays images of Stefano Pioli, Max Allegri and Simone Inzaghi, as well as Ezio Greggio, amongst others - have you contacted those sites to remove those images too then?

In conclusion, if you can provide a good source image to replace the current wrong image, then I'll cut it myself to ensure the correct image is displayed 👍

These things happen as long as  no one points out to you that there is something wrong.

I'm sure that if you were the concerned person not interested in having your wrong face in fans database website that appears in the google research you would be interested in removing the photo.

I don't really understand all these requests and tests necessary to remove a wrong photo, fact that can be easily checked on google. 

I'm not in the habit of doing something just because somebody tells me to do them, especially if it consists of deleting megapack images. 

I've already asked you to provide some kind of confirmation that the information is wrong because I haven't managed to find it easily on Google, which is precisely why I asked you to do it, but you refuse to do so.

I don't really understand why you don't just provide a replacement image, which solves the problem very easily, frankly. Just because an image is deleted doesn't mean it's removed from Google Images. The best way to do so is to overwrite it and you are the person in question, you won't get a better chance to sort the issue out…

You probably don't care that much about the site if you don't worry about spreading inaccurate photos
I am telling you that I am not the subject of the photo, it does not seem such a difficult thing to remove it.
I understand that replacing the photo can be simple, but I don't just want to appear on your site.

As you can see, I have already, a few minutes ago now, rejected the original image as a gesture of good will and it won't appear in the game when accessing the person's profile from now on. Due to the way the system works, deleting the actual image from user's PCs is naturally not possible and it will also continue to appear on Google Images and other similar sites. I shall not delete it, and the only way to remedy this is to replace it, and replacing it will require a good-quality image of the right person so that it is cut. I again offer to cut such an image if it is provided.

And yes, of course it's important to avoid having inaccurate photos, but mistakes do happen, especially given the volume of images produced. It's unfortunate but I have already provided you with a possible remedy which you can't or won't accept. And that's your problem, not ours.

The consequence is simply that you have a wrong database and that I will activate myself as I can to eliminate the photo from each search and not authorized website.
I'll give you the example again since maybe you don't understand that beyond what you do or what this site is, it is not normal for a person to see his name juxtaposed to a wrong photo and that when he asks for it to be removed he is told that you cannot delete the photo but only replace it.
This is incomprehensible because it simply does not respect my will not to appear that you are violating.
Replace that photo with the FIGC symbol or any neutral symbol, why do I have to send you a photo of me to have the wrong one deleted?

It's hard not to see “caring about the consequences of not doing it” as being a threat, but perhaps it's the language barrier.

If it's the photo to be eliminated from Google that you want, then speak to them, not us. 

This is the Google Image page for Ezio Castriota. Images are displayed of various Lazio and Salernitana players, Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso, Simone Inzaghi, popular Striscia La Notizia presenter Ezio Greggio, Stefano Pioli and Max Allegri, and the face on this site, from the people I can tell. It's not normal to see all those people's images when typing in that name either, but none of the other websites have removed the respective ‘wrong’ image either, so why should we be any different?

It's clear there is no ill-intent, no libel, no calumny and certainly nothing illegal done from our end, it's just an unfortunate mistake and we are giving you the only solution we can on this matter. Meet us halfway: if you want the wrong photo to be replaced on this site, then the only way to do it, as has been explained a few times already now, is to provide a replacement image. If you don't want to do so, then there's nothing else which can be done from our end due to technical reasons, I'm afraid. And I'm also afraid you don't get to decide how to manage the faces database on this site either.

I've cut a publicly-available image of what is hopefully the right person, which will be added to the 13.10 update pack of this file 👍

Anyway, you keep insisting on the replacement so I'll have to proceed in another way.

To try and seek some clarity on this matter, it seems that the cutout currently in the megapack is of Gianfranco Cicchetti.

I wasn't sure it was you in that photo and didn't want to compound the error, so thanks for confirming the right image will be displayed on this person's profile from now on.

I fail to see what's so wrong with solving your initial concern and displaying the right face for the right person now, but you're welcome to proceed in any other way you see fit 👍
