Love the skin. One question: what panel/bundle controls the team header color. Example below, I would like to change the Valencia header from this light black/grey to just a dark black or orange.

Hi! If you open my file, you'll still find them to be entered, but they'll be added in the next update since you can only start on a Monday, and from the date you choose onward, it's the game that simulates, not the entered results.

The results are in the advanced rules for Serie A, and you'll find a rule that ends with "league matches." or “Partite Campionato” since I don't know if the label is translated based on the editor's language.

 

Also, can you tell me how you did the supercups? Can something like this be done for national cups too, for champions league? Thanks

Oh I see, I found them in the partite campionato but all results seemed to be empty so I thought that's not it. I didn't have the details panel turned so did not see them in there. Found it now, thank you so much

Hi Marco, thank you for the files. Could you tell me how to update results on my own? Wanted to update the 4 Serie A games from the last two days (Milan, Como etc) but cannot find it. When I go to basic rules only results up to end of October are filled out and when I am in advanced rules only I can only find fixtures for the year but no results are filled in yet at all.

Sorry, I cannot locate the problem from this. Try removing Togo and the other logo Derek mentioned on the previous page, maybe it will work then.

I removed the logo 32. The config file was also adjusted accordingly, i.e., 32 was deleted... I deleted small folders everywhere because they are not supported correctly. My folder name for facepacks is faces anyway. None of this works after restarting the game. The Serie A logo is still not displayed. Neither are the Swedish 1st and 2nd leagues.

 

There must be another clash somewhere then. 

 

Can you take a screenshot of your graphics folder and other subfolders inside here please?

This does not resolve the issue. I have attempted it.

 

For me it did. I went to nations-normal-normal folder, removed the logo “32” and then into config file, found the line for 32 and removed the entire line, save config.

 

then went into nations-normal-small folder and did the same.

 

Also, you need to change the folder name of your facepacks. On previous FM versions I had it as graphics/players, but now renamed it to “faces” instead of “players”. Quit game, start game again and all logos, faces and kits started working normally for me

I've posted this on our site to explain why there are issues with Serie A, Boca Juniors and other logos. Hope it helps clarify the issue.

 

IMPORTANT

Please Note: FM26 currently has issues reading ID numbers that are repeated for more than one graphic. So if your wondering why your Serie A logo doesn't appear it's because it shares the same ID as the nation Mauritania. Despite having separate folders and config files FM26 currently only reads one. 

 

When I removed the Nations folder, the Serie A logo appears after a restart.The same applies for Boca Juniors and Chile Campeonato Nacional etc

 

My advice is to do nothing for the moment and wait for a fix from Sports Interactive. I'd imagine this will be rectified at full game release or new ID numbers will be issued.

 

Would it be solved if we just removed Mauritania from the logos and config file? What is their ID if you have it handy please?

Some logos in Italy are not showing. Others are working fine, kits and other graphics work fine, but logos are being blocked by something. At least for me

added La Liga and spl updated all results to world cup break wont be making many more as most major leagues have correct fixtures and tv schedules i make these for personal use and share them for the community to use 

 

Could you just make two more for Ligue 1 and Bundesliga? I made real fixtures and results in the past but now when I do it and start a competition with let's say Serie A when the game loads it is completely empty. Serie A league does not exist, Serie A clubs only compete in European competitions etc. I cannot get past this. 

 

If you could just create working files/leagues for France and Germany, you do not have to add results, I will manually add all results so we can have top 5 leagues at least with correct results

i do it from advanced rules have to put stage name as opening stage for it to work i check that there no future rule change in seasons ahead because thats what usually causes the problems im no expert tho

How did you manage to do this without issues?

 

I tried for Serie A and just a bunch of bugs, when I add results manually and start a new save Serie A does not exist at all, all fixtures are wiped

 

@kingrobbo is it possible we are still having bugs each year with the new editor that prevents from creating real fixtures?

How can i open each file ? doesn't let me import any editor data file. only the confiig.xml file, can you help me please ?

 

I open the editor, load the newest database, file-load editor data-select the country I want and click select.

Final winter update out now  you can't tick files until verified it is saying

 

Open each league file that you need in the editor - click on Rules - Test Rules - Save Editor Data. Reload database, load new league and repeat process.

Thank you for your answer. I remember on previous versions before team color skin when I would edit my own colors the color of these buttons and the analyser would be the color I have for my font in player/club profile. That is bg accent and bg accent1. I changed those now too and the color of font changes according to what I chose but the color of the buttons and analyser stays greenish.

 

Idk if that helps at all

@gimn85 Found it. It is controlled by Fg accent and fg accent1. When I changed that both the buttons and analyser changed colors while still having the sidebar change too according to team colors.

I've added v1.4 now, which has the updated layout for FHD, and the Team Colour option.

 

Re: colours.  For the analyser, you need the following files:

 

player attribute analyser outfield
player attribute analyser goalkeeper

 

Lines 29-33 define the colours.  I would advise staying away from team colours here (“primary” and “secondary”) as it can look janky with teams who have either black or white as a main colour.

 

For the other areas, I'll have a look what controls each area and get back to you.  Neither areas were edited in the skin, so it's unlikely that the relevant files will currently be in the skin folder.

Thanks so much for the team colors skin, looks great even though I only have a 1080p monitor. Is there a way to get it on FHD?

 

Also, how can I change the following colors please. I would like this dark/olive green to be either in team color or if that is not possible how can I change it to white/red/blue etc please while keeping the rest of the skin team color?

@AML  The green had been taken out deliberately, so to change it back you'll need to edit panels/tactics/tactics overview side panel, row 68 and panels/tactics/tactics overview side panel minimised, row 69 to:

<container class="main_contrast_box_no_margin" entity_layout_id="it15" id="bakC" wants_mouse_events="true" inset="0" red_replacement="pitch_box_background" width="890" name="green background" navigation_container="true">

Apologies, I misunderstood.  Thankfully, it's in the same place as mentioned before - you will need to change the transparency. Perhaps counter-intuitively, you'll want to increase it from 0.5 to make it less transparent.  I'd recommend trying the below code.

A few options here:

 

1) Try different logo packs.  I think most are at 200x200, so might not make much difference, but obviously wherever anything is scaled it will lose fidelity whether it is enlarged or shrunk.

 

2) Edit the .xmls and remove scaling, I've provided the code to change it to below.  This may cause problems if the logo file is bigger than the space it occupies.  Less of an issue if smaller, but it will just leave a little more space around it.

3) If it's just the logo on the club overview header, you could edit the height of the panel.  Below I've made the header smaller, changing default height from 230 to 200:

*in terms of the header/search bar, I've not touched this in the skin, so there won't be a file to play around with that will directly target the logo up there.

 

Sorry, I meant stronger in color. If you look at my SS a few posts ago the Valencia logo on club profile in the bottom left corner looks a bit blurred/hidden behind the blue color. If I am making any sense.

 

I would like the logo to be on top so to say, to have the logo colors be more prominent instead of the sidebar color. Thanks

how do you customise your own colour scheme?

 

In the mustermann alternatives folder there is a readme.txt file that explains how. You can open an rgb color generator and play with it. Copy the rgb code from the settings file and see what color it is and which color you want instead

Seems like there is no way to get either real results or just real fixtures at all. Only load a new game then use the in game editor to edit the table according to real results

I've done some testing…

 

  1. New file > added nation rules, no other changes. Verify. Start new game = no squad numbers or transfer windows, weird youth cups). So it's not caused by the fixtures or results.
  2. Take the first file, convert to advanced rules. Verify. Start new game = everything seems to work as normal (squad no's, can choose nation and start date etc). - so basically without converting to advanced, nothing will work at all.
  3. I exported both files to xml and copied the fixtures & results from the first into the advanced file, reimported to the editor, verified and saved. The game loads fine, but ignores the fixtures and results completely.

 

2. Is this the results and fixtures file or just the empty one? Does results and fixtures file work fine with advanced rules or still the same numbers and youth issue?

 

EDIT: I just tried to convert Italy results and fixtures to advanced, then test results but I get this error even though everywhere I checked Serie A is listed as division level 1:

be aware of the issues some users are seeing IMO most are caused by using the results rather than the fixtures and you should be ok if you start pre season just make sure no actual ‘’resulted'' game has been played

 

Unfortunately not. I tried deleting all results, started the game with India start date, cannot choose one of the nations used for real fixtures as start date at all, and numbers are still missing,

I think this gentleman is right actually @AML, I hadn't spotted it in your folder.

 

Yup that was it. I see you changed the file name to add Flick changes and I didn't delete previous files, only replaced them so it left a duplicate file. When I remove the file called just Ajax staff and leave Ajax Staff and Flick I can get him in the game normally.

@mons can you tell me what happened so you had to add Flick forcefully? This wasn't the case in beta iirc?

Same number issue for me.

 

I tried creating my own results and fixtures file but I can't even run the test because I get a ton of errors about team x has more or less games than team y etc. Cannot validate files at all. I used the fixtures generator as before and in it everything is fine but for some reason some teams have more games or duplicates or missing games when I import the file to the pre game editor….

@AML, the path used for the editor data files is not the same as the one in my screenshots. Have you changed the user data location from the preferences so that the game can look for them in your folder rather than the default one (which is the one from my screenshot)?

Yes I have, I checked again in Steam now and it is fine. Same location I used in beta and everything worked fine, no issues

Here they are. On the left is your screenshot from this thread, on the right in black is my personal folder location. I took a screenshot of a new save game too and my editor data folder. Fwiw everything worked fine on beta, I only noticed this issue after the full release.
