#627846 Inter Milan new logo
Tommy Hughes
It's the logo for Inter Milan baseball team. 😉
#627791 Football Manager 2021 (PROPER) Audio Commentary patch
Tommy Hughes
Actually, I've tested extracting the simatchviewer-pc.fmf into \simatchviewer-pc\ folder, adding new sounds into the \sounds\ sub-folder, writing them into the match_sounds.cfg and leaving the extracted \simatchviewer-pc\ folder like that. It works. As long as the folder is in Football Manager 2021\data\ where the original simatchviewer-pc.fmf is, the game reads the extracted folder first and the .fmf package only if there is no \simatchviewer-pc\ folder to read. So, I keep the folder extracted so I can easily add new sounds etc. there without the need to extract/archive again and again.

#626550 FM 2021 FLUT skin dark - Version 16.0

I'd like to find the timeline as well, and also the written match report when studying a previous match. Have they got rid of them both?!
#625943 Some effective videos I found - from a new FM player

That sounds almost like… sleeper agent spammers? :o

#625766 Change kick of times for a league
Tommy Hughes
The way it works is you make the adjustments in the pre game editor, save them into a data file and choose it (tick/untick the data files you want to use) when starting a new career.
#625698 Change kick of times for a league
Tommy Hughes
No problem, mate. 🙂
You can find the editor under Tools in you Steam library.
I imagine the easiest way to change the kickoff times for the division you play in would be to use the real fixtures .txt file, mass-edit the starting times in notepad or other such program and then import the fixtures in the pregame editor. That covers the first season's fixtures and kickoff times. There should also be a section where you can define the timing of matches in general (for the following seasons as well). I cannot remember where you can find that setting in the editor off the top of my head, but it must be somewhere under the Competition-related setting section.

You can find where the kickoff times can be changed among these instructions:
https://sortitoutsi.net/content/50989/how-to-create-real-fixture-files-into-text-and-then-use-in-game
Check the 4th picture from the top, you can see the fixtures list with the starting times there.

Editing the kickoff times can certainly be done in the PRE-game editor, but probably not in the IN-game editor. I'm not sure, because I haven't used the latter one. Obviously the unfortunate issue with changing the kickoff times with the pregame editor is that you'd have to start a whole new game with that editor file with the modified kickoff times.

Holy moly, 289 k p/w!? Just imagine the press conference where IFK Goteborg announce their great new signing, and their subsequent bankruptcy at the same time. 🙂

#624255 FM2021 Licensing and Real Name Fix File v4.0 for FM21.4 [released on 16/03/2021]
Tommy Hughes
Mons will publish a new patch version tomorrow:
“I'm afraid I'm in bed for the night, so the new release will have to wait till tomorrow morning. For those who can't wait, make sure the dbc/permanent and edt/permanent folders in your 2140 folder look like the ones in the screenshot, and that your lnc folder does too.”
#621828 Home thread for the FM26 Cut-Out Megapack - 2026.07 OUT NOW [17/06/2026]
Tommy Hughes
Yeah, true. Doesn't make much sense. I just thought that maybe there's some comment in release notes or comments related to the pack that mentions Ryan Renolds by name and some automatic search system has deemed that a trademark violation is possible. How else would their representatives/broken search-bot algorithms even come across a thing like the Facepack in the internet. No living soul has browsed through the 300k + files, that are named by the FM ID numbers, just in case there's a registered face included, that's for sure. 😀
But it wouldn't be the first time that a major company DMCAs some content baselessly and "just in case" (often it's in You Tube environment, though).
#621793 Home thread for the FM26 Cut-Out Megapack - 2026.07 OUT NOW [17/06/2026]
Tommy Hughes
Holy crap. Could it somehow have to do with the people who've taken over the ownership of Wrexham, perhaps? It feels far-fertched, sure, but that's the first thing I thought of if WB is involved…
#621739 FM 2021 FLUT skin dark - Version 16.0
Tommy Hughes
Yeah, I'm not really feeling the faces in the squad selection screen. Sorry. I feel they're great in tactics and other places, but just not in squad selection, where there's all that other info and, IMHO, no need for very small mugshots.
But I do feel the version with faces with transparent background are better than the team color ones.
EDIT 2021_03_15:
Now that I finally decided to replace my Flutskin 8.0 with the 9.0 version, it didn't take long to get used to the small face “thumbnails” in the Squad Selection page. I quite like them, actually, regardless of what I had assumed before. 🙂
#621546 The Most Depressing Football Club... can you fix them?
Tommy Hughes
Now that's what I call a challenge! 🙂
I've done okay in the past in small (mainly) English clubs and other underdog teams, but I don't think I'm ready for this one yet. Thanks for sharing this amazing story and experience, though. Would be interesting to see/read about someone taking this challenge on.
#621460 FM2021 Licensing and Real Name Fix File v4.0 for FM21.4 [released on 16/03/2021]
Tommy Hughes
Hi!
Just a small suggestion for adjustment of the stadium name of Birmingham City FC: “Trillion Trophy Stadium” → “St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium”.
So, the traditional St Andrew's part is still used in the name IRL, but in the Real Name Fix File it's currently named only by the sponsor's name as "Trillion Trophy Stadium".
(Proof: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44481033)
Thanks!
#621132 Adboard Patch FAQ & Technical Support Thread
Tommy Hughes
Thanks for your hard work rabcp!
When I noticed the adboards in question were English national team boards, I searched their folder, backed them up and placed few general English adboards named 1, 2 and 3, so the game now reads them for such friendlies instead. 🙂
#621123 FM2021 Licensing and Real Name Fix File v4.0 for FM21.4 [released on 16/03/2021]
Tommy Hughes
Oh, that sounds odd. I haven't started a new save for a long time myself, but I'll test it later today and see if the same happens to me.
#621119 FM2021 Licensing and Real Name Fix File v4.0 for FM21.4 [released on 16/03/2021]
Tommy Hughes
Yes, the Juventus name and its stadium & youth stadium are still correct in my save, after re-applying the Real Names fix after the 21.3 update. I did start my current save after beta stage, though. That might be a factor in it, who knows?
Or do you mean that even when starting a whole new career right now, you won't get the Juventus fix to work?
#621116 FM21 Data Tweaks v3.1 [Updated on 26/02/2021]
Tommy Hughes
Excuse me, but what is the point of having two different versions (LITE and PREMIUM) of the data tweaks? Any person who's interested in your tweaks/updates is surely interested in being able to use all of them in their FM 21, not just the random light version, right? So, why would you want people to take up your time and bombard you with private meassages asking for the PREMIUM file, when you could simply make it available for download the way you've done before?
I mean no offense, by the way. I appreciate the work you and many other community creators have done and I would be interested in the PREMIUM file, but don't understand why it would be beneficial to anyone to have an extra asking process for the file… so I'm just curious about that.
#621111 Adboard Patch FAQ & Technical Support Thread
Tommy Hughes
During my 20-21 pre-season, when managing Sheffield Wednesday, I played small local clubs (Sheffield FC, Handsworth, Stocksbridge) away at their stadiums. Their adboards consisted of the English national team ones and nothing else.
#619718 [FM20] Unlock Japanese Club Overview Panel Skin
Tommy Hughes
I'm pretty sure Dosukoi has released a new version for FM 21. Not sure where to find it though.
Also, Flutskin skin for FM 21 has the panel in question included, so I suggest using that:

#618798 Players retiring young on FM21
Tommy Hughes
I don't think using custom files should usually affect the age when players tend to retire, but maybe there's something there.
I myself use quite many custom files, databases etc. but tend to play my saves so slowly that I don't get to see many familiar players retire during my saves. :)
#618714 Players retiring young on FM21
Tommy Hughes
That's odd. Have you used any specific extra files (player ability tweaks or something like that for example) for the save?
Also, have the players you mentioned had many injuries in the latter years of their career?
#616125 Sponsors on turf behind the goal and dug out entrance.
Tommy Hughes
What I mean is that the game has different models for stadiums of various sizes (based on crowd capacity, I believe). It should be at least possible to change a stadium model that matches the crowd capacity of your own team's stadium and, thus, use that stadium model whenever you play at home. I've been brainstorming stuff like that but I myself lack the graphical skills and tools to actually realise that sort of recreation of a stadium model. I'm wondering if anyone's ever tried something like it?
#616069 Sponsors on turf behind the goal and dug out entrance.
Tommy Hughes
That would be nice. And what about personalised stadiums for some teams?
#615918 FM21 Adboard Patch - V1.4 [22/09/2021] Update out now!
Tommy Hughes
Check the FAQ:
https://sortitoutsi.net/content/57672/adboard-patch-faq-technical-support-thread
****
How can I play in a cup match (Champions League, FA Cup etc) and see these competitions adboard’s instead of club specific adboard’s?
Before entering the match engine, place the ‘no clubs’ fm.xml file into this location: C:\Users\name\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2021\ads
When using the ‘clubs’ fm.xml file and playing a game at a natural venue why do club ads show instead of competition ads?
It’s a bug within the game, for some reason the FM21 match engine treats all matches at a neutral venue as a home/away game. to combat this, you can switch to the ‘no clubs’ fm.xml file. *****
#615875 Instant Result Button
Tommy Hughes
I believe Flut skin has an Instant Result Button. And it's a great skin, regardless.
