You're asking me to essentially rework the whole competition and award files to have them in a format not dissimilar to the default data. I don't think you understand the time needed to do such an exercise, which is why I have no interest in doing so.


You have misunderstood me - if I found the file, or created one, would you include it in the pack as an alternative editor file for competition names?

Very comprehensive work - I have downloaded an alternative name fix for competitions somewhere for the previous version, which had the competitions with their 'proper' names instead of sponsor names (however in English and not the native language). Does anyone know where to find such a file? And whilst it would make the plug & play nature of the fix obsolete, would you consider including it as an alternative editor file (one would than have to untick a tick at the start of the game from the two alternatives, possibly a mental exercise too steep to some visitors of this forum), it would provide a nice change for people not wanting to be bombarded with brand names in their downtime.

I'm interested in fm 21!


It should logically be under Player screen in interface, but I can't find it either, neither by name (typing in 'player' or 'attribute'. Given how complicated it was to find the skin colours and the general unusability of the current menu system, what remains for me is to suggest blaming SI. I mean, there is a reason why this website is called what it is... Maybe raise it as a bug on the SI forums, it is the beta after all...

You can go in preference and search for "attributes" and then edit like you want


Can you show a screenshot of this? The question was originally based on FM18, but I do not even see the four-level settings in FM21 beta anywhere...

Hello Hive-Mind,

Do you know whether there is a way to distinguish all 20 skill levels with skinning tools? The base game lets you set thresholds for four levels, but I would like to edit all 20 levels individually - is there a way to do this or maybe a skin already out there that might achieve this?

(I am thinking of a nuanced colour scale black - red - yellow - green - gold (maybe blue))

The UIDs are different - is that intentional?

Yep, for some reason the game changed the UID for the newly generated club in a different save (might have tinkered with the db as well, can't remember), I did not care for chaning the file name. But this brought me to the idea that there might something with naming that's wrong. Have a look at the icon file, maybe I have overlooked something.

Bit of a different issue - playing with a custom database with a newly added club - I have configured a club logo along with the existing ones, the large version works fine, but the 18x18 size logo does not. The file is correctly set up. Do icons of newly created clubs have a different path to assign to than

Yes, it seems the original author was less careful with his setup than what I have already discovered. I think I will just recreate the whole thing as some flags (especially icons) could have a nicer compression with a conversion from an svg file. This would also allow for an introduction of a larger size than 180x110. What would be a practicable larger size, for the "flag" folder?

Originally, there have been a few icons that have either been missing, or called a wrong name (the original author seemed to veer between Olympic shorthands and first few letters of the nation). However, in the latest version, it all should be fixed. All the mentioned nations above should be set up completely identically to the others. It also does not appear to be a missing file case for me, as the the large and medium folders are identical (save for config file word change) and the small folder has been also generated by an algorithm...

Hi, I have a strange problem with a realistic flag collection I downloaded (from elsewhere, but have since played around with its nomenclature a bit), and the program seems to leave random instances out.

I have attached two screenshots, one shows Australia, flags missing in two places on the nation screen, the second showing Bangladesh, perfectly in order. There is three folders, large, medium and small, containing 180*110, 180*110 and 25*11 size png files, named identically across the three folders, and config files set up, only to use the "large" folder files as "flags", the "medium" folder as "logos" and the "small" folder content as "icons". A good 5-10 % of nations miss their flags in the position as shown on the pictures. I am completely clueless to what is going on...

File type is .PNG. For some reason, FM doesn't read files in .PNG, but only when they're in .png. Rename it, and you should be fine

A definitve version of the Hungarian logopack for the current state of the game.

One bug though, and I cannot for my life figure out why it won't load the badge of Keszthely FC (7521320), the file seems right, the config seems right. If you can lift the veil on this mystery, I would be quite grateful.

Update: new, complete logopack for all clubs in the game.
