edit - I downloaded the v7.08 update pack from DepositFiles at the time of this post and don't see the config included after extracting. It also shows the .rar file being 195MB which is a bit odd considering the site shows 186MB before downloading. Downloaded image count is 3696 as listed, so probably no issue other than the missing config which I'll grab from the post above.

The blue and white collar WOH v1.0 link is broken mate.

Here's the deal.

I'm going to be teaming up with hammer9 with the SSKCC file going forward. He'll still be the boss of it, I'm just here to help. Instead of cluttering the boards, one of us will simply update the SSKCC thread with an updated link when anything is released.

Be aware that link, and this thread, are intended for use on FM14 with 13/14 kits. In the future I will be helping hammer with the most recent SKKCC, hopefully starting in FM16. As mentioned, I simply can't be bothered for FM15 as I don't play it, sorry.

Okay, quick note after playing around with this today.

I'm going to be focusing on club colors first and foremost, like previously mentioned. I can run through leagues pretty quickly doing this, while on the other hand editing in-game kits is extremely time consuming. The goal of this file is to touch every playable league, so I have to pick and choose my battles. Unfortunately, it's not realistic for me to be changing the number outline color for a second tier Romanian side. Rest assured, I'll still be doing kit edits to bigger clubs as I come across them, it's just that club colors will be the main focus.

A few other things. In addition to clubs, I'll check all the national teams for color/kit inaccuracies. Additionally, I'll go through the biggest non-playable clubs in each continent, think Asia and Africa where the playable leagues are limited.

That's about it, seems overwhelming but I think I'm up for it. I plan on starting after the weekend for those interested (all zero of you so far!).

I'll update again with any progress I've made and any announcements for a possible release! Still a bit trial and error so bare with me.

I was going through the South African league (don't ask) and came to the realization that many clubs have incorrect colors and kit designs in FM. I looked further and found this ran way deeper than obscure leagues, finding numerous errors in practically every single league.

Using hammer9's latest SSKCC14 file (v2.6.1), I am going to be starting a download to fix these errors in the form of an editor data file. The goal is to tackle every single playable league, although I am only one person and this is a very lofty and time consuming project.

All credit for SSKCC14 goes to hammer9, I am simply loading, and then overwriting, the fantastic work he has already done. This is by no means meant to compete with or diminish his work.

Color/Design 14 will be focused on fixing two different things in FM.

Firstly, club colors. Whether they are simply incorrect, an unreadable combination or a slight shade of the proper colors, I will fix it. One place to see these colors displayed is the titlebar.

Example of incorrect colors. This club should have purple as either their primary or secondary. Instead, black/white.

Unreadable colors. Red on blue, not a good look! I would change this to make the text white.

Wrong shade. This club is blue, but not that shade of blue. Again, I would tweak this.

Next, the kit designs themselves. I am not talking about downloadable kits, but the in-game kits that are displayed in FMC, the tactics screen, and on some skins, including mine above. The goal here is to make the kits as realistic, and readable, as possible. In this case, I would make the number white, as Shakhtar wear in real life. Other examples would be editing the kit type (adding/removing stripes, hoops, and so on) as well as altering any incorrect colors.

As a disclaimer, this will mostly be focused on home kits as they're primarily shown in the screens above. The kit design changes will be less extensive than the club color changes as they're harder to find sources of and much more time consuming to do in the editor.

There are no versions of this file released yet, although I will be starting shortly. The plan is to go nation by nation with the file growing in time. I can release updates at any interval, as editor data files only have to be present at the start of a save. You will have to start a new game to see changes in the updates be applied, however.

Ex: Game A is started with v1 (5 nations completed). v2 is released with 10 nations completed. You start Game B with v2 and delete v1 from your editor data. Game A will still work, but will remain using the version it was begun with. Hope that makes sense.

There are no plans to release this for FM15 as selfishly, I much prefer FM14. I am speaking to mons and hammer9 at the moment and may look to bring this idea to FM16 in collaboration with them, although that's a way down the road.

Lastly, install instruction. Simply place the file into "editor data," which should be located inside "Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 14." Easy enough. If you are already using SSKCC14, delete that and replace it with this, as I am using the last release of it as a base to start from. Once again, thanks to hammer9.

I think that about covers it. Wanted to get this up before I started so I could focus on all the tedious work I have ahead of me! Not sure how far a first version is from being released but I'll make sure to keep this thread updated with information as it comes.

Hey Mons, quick question. I'm wondering what the "colour changes.dbc" file does exactly. Believe it was called that in the FM14 fix, may have a slightly different name now.

Asking because I'm about to start a new save and was advised by hammer9 that this file does what his popular SSKCC file does - change kit/club colors add/remove third kits.

So yeah, just wondering what happens if I remove it.

Note that these were added after Update 2 and Daz's two updates. Hopefully we can get an Update 3 including this, would make sorting the config a bit easier for me!

And here are 37 images I consider to be improvements, whether they be higher quality, updated, better angles, etc. Again, these are all in the latest config posted by Daz which will hopefully be included in Update 3. This is subjective, of course, so no worries if some (if not all) are not considered.
