My brother Adamwenn100 told me about this challenge and I have given it a go... and it didn't go well!

My initial assessment of the team was it lacked any real standout players in the back and midfield, and Defoe lacked decent competition. As I result I purchased the following players:



Overall, Klose was a good buy, Marney provided adequate competition in the middle, Aogo was a solid left back but lacked consistency, and Long was only a bit-part player in the end as Defoe kept scoring and kept him out of the team. Letting Borini and Larssen go were helping to "balance" the books allowing me to get these players in. I did try and get Howson from Norwich, but I just couldn't stretch the finances enough for him unfortunately, as I feel he would have made a difference in the centre of the pitch.

The results didn't go my watch, and I constantly leaked goals. I blew a hand full of leagues that ended up being draws and defeats, and overall this costed me relegation. Once my morale hit rock bottom, it was downhill from there, unfortunately.
