Even since it's birth, in 1991, the Latvian Virsliga has had problems of every type; teams leaving due to match-fixing and corruption, economical problems, poor facilities etc.
Latvia has never been a very big footballing country, and that's part of the problem. There aren't Latvian wonderkids flowing around in the world and in part that contributes to the issues stated above.
In this save we want to change that, making Latvia a proper nation and bringing it to the top.
