What type of names are incorrect? Clubs, competitions, stadiums? Have you also installed the files in the editor data folder?
Thanks @kajetanor
What FM update do you mean?
Like I said via PM, I'd love to help but I don't understand what you want and what you're saying. Perhaps you can upload some screenshots?
Hmm, I see. Tbf, it looks like there's not much I can do about it. Not sure why you're associating it with this specific download tbh as it seems to be related to all editor data files. It's up to the network managers to either play it vani...
I haven't played network games, so not really sure what all the above means. Can you indicate where SI have said they are investigating this issue internally? Perhaps a thread on the official forums etc?
I'm afraid you need to work a little bit more on your cutting technique as the aspect ratio on the images is all wrong...
Not really. Drop me a PM, I may have a suggestion...
I'm afraid not until SI fix it, no.
It's not a bug with the skin, but with the way the game itself displays regens...
I have no idea what any of that means, sorry.
You cannot fix this in a save-game, but you can use the pre-game editor to change it.
Now that you've started a save game, you cannot, but if you want to correct it in time for starting a new save, you need to open the Club Name Changes editor data file with the editor and make the change you wish
It's an issue with how the kits are displayed in the database. To work around it, open the config.xml in the kitpack folder with notepad and them amend the code to look like this:
<record from="americamg1" to="graphics/pictures/tea...
I'm afraid it's looking likely
Please do. I'm at work, so can't see the screenshot (firewall ) and may be slightly delayed when it comes to replying, but I'll do my best
Hmmm. Can I have a screenshot of any dbc/permanent folder please?
I've had some posters in here saying that deleting the brazilian kits.dbc or Licensing2.dbc from all the folders works in the middle of a save-game, while there were others who said i...
Are the contents of dbc/permanent the same in all 4 folders?
Can you please ensure that the dbc/permanent folders in all 4 folders (i.e. 1700, 1701, 1710 and 1712) look like the below:
If there are files named brazilian kits.dbc or Licensing2.dbc in either (I'm not 100% sure of the names as I'm working...
Please make sure you edit the files in all 4 folders indicatef in the main post.
Happy to have managed to assist
There's many similar software for Macs, try them out. Sorry can't be more specific but as I don't have a Mac, there's not much more I can do...
You need to extract it. Unless you do so, it just cannot work.
Any luck yet? It's supposed to be quite straight-forward to extract compressed files; a matter of a couple of clicks.
Try following these steps: http://www.dummies.com/computers/macs/how-to-zip-and-unzip-files-on-your-mac/
I don't have a Mac, but I found this video which may help: https://vimeo.com/15088401
When you download winrar, there's a button called extract. Click it and take note of the folder it is extracted to. Then put the ensuing extracted folder in Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2017 / graphics.
Have you extracted the rar file with winrar? The file you've downloaded is compressed, unless you extract it, it simply can't work.
If you're not sure that what you've done is right, just upload a screenshot of your megapack folder
Just put it on the desktop or Downloads are somewhere else for the time being. Extract the file and place the ensuing sortitoutsi folder in the location you had earlier placed the rar file.
Remove the rar file from there.
Use Winrar for Mac to extract the files...
Moved this to right section
Can I have a screenshot of the location you've placed the files you've downloaded? How many images do you have in your megapack folder? And how do players appear in-game?
Had a look online at found the 2 below "solutions"
*On Lion, the Libary folder is hidden. You have to open Terminal and type "chflags nohidden ~/Library" to view it.
*Open your finder. Click go at the top menu and press the alt option...
You must have the files you want to use directly in Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2017 > editor data, i.e. you need to take them out of their subfolders as they are when you download them. Once you do so and you go to start a...
If you extract the first one, it should be automatically extract all the others.
Everything looks absolutely fine - I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong
Did you do the fmxml thingy?
Yes, and how about 92021718?
It's possible there may be some of them still around, but it doesn't explain why some cuts appear and some not...
Can you go to Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2017 and search for 62076152 and give me a screenshot of the...
Looks fine here too. I'm a bit mystified now tbh as everything appears to be in order.
Perhaps it's a config issue, so let's try to create a new one. Can you try downloading this file? Have a look at this video to operate it - it's re...
Ok, you can close that folder then.
Can I have a screenshot of the folder before this one? i.e. Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2017 > graphics
Also, when you are next in-game, can you untick the use skin cache box, quit the g...
I needed to see the folder from the top, not the bottom. My bad, I wasn't clear. This basically, but once it's been ordered.
Are there any sub-folders in the folder? Also, is there an image named 92021718 in the main MP folder?
The time the folder takes to open doesn't really have anything to do with whether the game "sees" them or not. It's to be expected that it takes a bit of time, it has 179 thousand odd images to sort, after all...
The media and journalists files won't work, I believe.
There's a workaround to get the club name changes in the first post, which you would need to do to get the club name changes.
Hmm, nothing seems out of place from those screenshots and the amount of images seems about right.
Do you have any other facepacks installed perchance? Also, can I have a screenshot of the contents of the faces folder? Do give your PC time to sort out th...
Seems to me like you either did not download the full pack or that you've somehow not installed it correctly, but I just can't give you any meaningful advice without seeing your folder structure.
Even if you take photos of the screen with your...

Hi there, I've moved your posts to this thread, which is the dedicated thread for assistance with installation for the cutout faces megapack.

Thanks for pointing it out; this completely passed me by
I've updated the link in my above post and the OP to reflect this change.
