It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I downloaded new faces a couple of days ago from sortitoutsi and fm slovakia ,and added them to my existing packs. Changed the xml files like i always do. Cache unticked and reload skin ticked in preferences. But all of my faces dont show in the game anymore. Does anyone know how to solve this?

I have had the same issue past 24 hours out of nowhere, not sure how to sort, will let you know if I can figure it out. Use a combination of ASD, DF11, cutouts and older ones, could be my folder has too many faces now. XML all updated.

Can I see screenshots of your faces folder? Showing clearly the amount of images, amount of folders and full path.
You should put separate packs in separate folders, otherwise you run the risk of none of them working.

Total of 484566 faces in my face folder. So i have no seperate face folders. Didnt know that i had to do that,because it always worked.

Hi this as probably been asked already but I’ve not been on these forums for years and just started to play fm again.. I’ve downloaded the full mega pack for face but when I try copying it to the graphics folder it’s saying it’s going to take over a day to complete!! Surely not I’ve got a brand new gaming laptop one of the Acer nitro 5 version I’m sure it never use to take that long

I did read that to be fair it’s been copying a hour now and still hasn’t done 1% like I say it’s a brand new laptop with good specs as well

It's installed in the right folder, so that's not the issue. However, it's got about 6,000 more images than the megapack actually has. Any idea why they could be?
Can you also attach the file titled config.xml contained in that folder?

I got also face pictures from fm slovakia in the same folder,that explains the amount. It worked everytime,until now.

You shouldn't have the DF11 files in the same folder but in a separate one to avoid precisely this kind of situation. You generated a different config file and somehow mucked it. Without knowing what you did, I can't tell, sorry.
Use the config file from the most recent update pack in the faces folder, and I suppose it'll work, and don't mix and match facepack styles in the same folder.

Surely using FMXML or similar would negate any potential issues. I have had separate folders for years, with some packs mixed with others within folders, but the logic in terms of how FMXML works would seem to suggest that the XML it generates should work.
I think the issue might come when your rename existing folders from what I can figure out

In theory, yes it should negate the issues. In practice, it's exactly what created it in this case, however.
The megapack works fine, but it's clearly something both users have done (maybe the same thing, maybe not) which has stopped it from working probably. Trust me, you'd be surprised how often it happens that the megapack isn't working because it's something the user's changed which had unintended consequences.
Which is why I suggested keeping everything separate, thus avoiding this kind of issue arising.

Makes sense mate, it definitely isn't a pack issues, I should have clarified that. There will be a cache file held somewhere that needs cleared I think, just trial and error to try to find it

I’m all sorted now it seems 7-zip wasn’t extracting them properly switch to Winrar and now everything works perfectly

I downloaded everything again,and made seperate folders. 1 for cut out faces and 1 for df11 faces. But seems that the df11 faces dont work anyomore. The cut out faces are good again. But dont know what is wrong with the df11 faces now.

hi, I downloaded the cut out faces, the entire Austrian and Italian league is without faces, and in all the teams somewhere there are also no faces, why is that?

You must not have installed it correctly, since both the Austrian and Italian leagues have a considerable amount of images in the megapack. In order for us to understand what you did wrong, can you please upload screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder?
