I'm a noobie when it comes to modding and anything computer related. i installed a couple mods then realised it would be better if FM22 was in my F: drive so i attempted what i thought would be an easy swap over. Lets just say it all went wrong, didn't work and ever since i've reinstalling both Steam and FM22 and it hasn't worked whatsoever. in dire need of some help!
mons
What exactly is wrong or not working? Would help us help you if you were more specific in what your issue is…
cbmcgurk
Hey, sorry about the lack of specificity. Everytime I attempt to load a save or start a new save now it just shuts the application and has a little error box that says something along the lines of “Cannot locate crash dump files”. Like I said I've tried putting it all back to how I had it before but it now doesn't work. I can attach a few screenshots when I get home if that would help.

It's likely you messed the installation process up, leading to the issues you're experiencing. I'll need to have some information, including screenshots, on which mods you installed, and where you installed them 👍
cbmcgurk
Would it be easier to delete everything FM22 I have on my laptop and just reinstall it?
mons
You could, but uninstalling FM22 itself won't make a difference to any other custom files you download and installed. It's those which you need to deal with.
cbmcgurk
What do I need to screenshot and show? Because I've honestly got no idea.
mons
In your first post, you mentioned installing mods. What mods are they and where did you install them?
cbmcgurk
I installed where I was meant to like face packs in the graphics folder, kits etc. This was all in the C: originally before I tried transferring it all at once over to the F: .
Below I've attached a video of what keeps happening.
cbmcgurk
I had the most popular kits mod with a couple other smaller leagues, and the first face pack mod that comes up. I also installed an update mod that made the game more ‘realistic’ in a variety of ways, prices, availability interactions etc.

That video just shows what's happening, which I had already understood. The folder briefly shown towards the end is the game installation folder, which is not where you should install custom graphics.
If you want me to help you out, you need to give me more specific information. I need screenshots of where you placed the files you've installed, otherwise I cannot begin to understand what the issue might possibly be. After all, you don't go to the doctor, tell him you've got pain and expect an instant diagnosis, do you? 😉

You are more interested in being muggy than helpful I see. If I could be more specific as to what I've exactly done then I'd probably be able to figure it out myself. I'd rather struggle than deal with some smart ass' attitude.

Apologies if that's what it came across as, it wasn't the intention. Given that you've described yourself as a noobie, I tried to use an analogy to explain in a more tangible manner why I'm asking you these questions.
But it's a bit hard for me to help you out if you give vague answers to specific questions I've asked you repeatedly, man. Tell me which mods, specifically, you installed and in which locations, specifically, you installed them, ideally with screenshots, and I'm confident we'll get to the bottom of it.
Otherwise I'm just flying blind since I cannot possibly identify why this is happening for you based on the info provided thus far, simply because there are so many possible reasons…

I appreciate your frustration but when you're asked to clarify it doesn't help to be offensive if you're not clear on what's being asked. If you've moved your installation have you also told FM where your data location now exists ? If you can access preferences, you can enter the details there. If not, you can do it via Steam by right clicking on Football Manager 2002, select Properties, General and in the Launch Options panel type --user_data_location="F:\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2022" if as you say, your files are on your F drive.
