Football really brings out the worst in people sometimes. I can understand Chelsea fans are a bit miffed but Im sure in a few weeks or something we will get robbed with decisions, or Chelsea will rob another team with theres. It happens, it shouldn't but it does, im sure every football fan can think of plenty of times its happened to their team. Trying to win pointless arguments with each other doesn't achieve anything.

The most annoying thing in regards to being a Chelsea fan at the moment regarding decisions, is that we've also been duped out of 3/4 genuine penalties now as well. Since Hazard was singled out on MOTD a month or so ago, he's won 3 clear pen's himself and not one has been given.

Then you see the Rooney's chop tackle on Mata (I think), which brought on the freekick and goal for Mata not given a yellow. Yet, something like Torres going to ground when a clear foul is had gets booked for diving.

It's all down to consistency really. Clattenberg showed absolutely none and ruined a good game of football it sounds like.

Im sticking up for him when people assume everything he does is deliberate, those two incidents yesterday were more than likely an honest mistake.

Rooney was booked for that tackle and Torres should have been sent off in the first half for that fucking kung fu tackle on Cleverley.

Without singling out any particular foul, Wayne Rooney is absurdly lucky when it comes to picking up bookings.

Apparently, Clattenburg called Juan Mata a "Spanish twat".

Also, the biggest referring disgrace this weekend was allowing Arsenal's goal, no doubt. Purely because the ref came out and said "Ryan Nelsen was off the pitch and playing everyone onside", yet Nelsen was clearly in the middle of the 6-yard box \o/

"I think Phil Neville badly let his manager down. His manager did every paper, every radio station and every TV channel talking about Luis Suarez and then his captain, who is meant to be setting an example, blatantly dives," said the England captain.

Imagine captains letting their clubs down, Gerrard.

Not seen that, but if a player if off the pitch he can't be playing everyone onside, iirc?

Love this picture. The 4th official looks like he's going to snap.

My bad. Wasn't aware he had been booked, the footage I seen only showed the tackle and nothing of Rooney being booked.

I'm not wanting to defend Ivanovic but I can't see where a touch came there? I've watched some replays but can't tell. Might be bad eye sight, but can someone give me a gif or a still picture where the contact happens?

There was the slightest of touches. Not enough to bring Young down, but enough to give him the opportunity to go down.

Some more fun referee making bad decision GIFs!

This one was a freekick to Everton:

The fact that Young went down and got the free kick doesn't surprise me. In those situations, it usually goes with the attacker. Although I can't say anything like that especially after the way Cuntenburg refereed yesterday. Young had less contact (can barely be seen in a close up replay so how Cuntenburg saw it is beyond me) so how he didn't get called for diving could be one of two things:

1. Because he was clearly through on goal and he fell, Cuntenburg decided that it has to be a foul because a goal isn't enough for United.
2. The obvious reason which I won't state because I will just start everything again.

Yet when it comes to Torres, who also had the opportunity to go on goal (of course not as obvious as Young because he had to be faster than Rio and De Goat to the ball) but he assumed that it was a dive. Why he did that is beyond me and just shows how terrible / biased he is...

Neither am I. I am at the same place as you. I can't see any contact but there probably was (the slightest of them) and he went down (not saying he shouldn't. Just compared it to the Torres incident and showed why Twattenburg is such a cunt.

Pull your head out your arse - Just because Sam said Gerrard isn't innocent of not diving after he had a whinge about Phil Neville doesn't mean he thinks every United player is innocent of diving.

This seems to be the standard response to every Man Utd when they criticise an opposing player or manager (probably everyone else as well, but it seems to have happened to the Utd fans on here quite a bit recently). Just because someone supports a particular club doesn't mean they blindly support the actions of every player at their club. For instance, I support Newcastle, but I don't any of the shit Nile Ranger gets up to is acceptable.

Sam picked out probably the worst two he could have, there are far better examples of Gerrard diving. The first one wasn't even a dive, I cant remember the 2nd.

Funniest thing about the Gerrard quotes is that he dived for the freekick that led to the disallowed goal. So lacking in self-awareness.

You're insane (and about 12 judging by the childish names)

If Clattenburg was biased;
Why didn't he send Ivanovic off earlier for his two-footed foul on Evra? (He gave Chelsea a throw-in instead. )
Why didn't he send Torres off for kung-fu kicking Cleverley?
Why did he book Valencia for diving instead of booking Mikel (and then sending him off) for body checking him?
Why did he allow Ramires to commit countless fouls without booking him even once?
etc etc

Young played for the foul but he clearly got his ankles clipped and it was as clear a foul as you'll get. Ivanovic knew it too.

Chelsea were 2-0 down after 10 minutes and were getting sliced apart at will. They'd do well to focus on that rather than blaming the referee for all their problems.

The only reason Gerrard was having a dig at Neville for diving was because Moyes had one at Suarez pre-game. Just returning the favour.
