Sociedad want closer to €30m...

If his final product improves you've got yourself a very good player.

He can beat a player but his crossing and finishing has never impressed me.

Huge player for us not only in the Championship but the season we came back up and the season we finished 5th - some huge shifts he's put in for us. Shame he's been poor for a year and a bit but still one of my favourite players.
Rumours are he's off to Norwich - hope he has a great end to his career.

Good riddance.

Nah, he's pretty much shite these days.
Still good going forward, but never really bothers to get back and when he is back he doesn't do that properly either.
Gonna miss him though, he's a hero.

Edit: Just seen this in the Utd thread, bugger.

So basically Astori. Vidal's just signed a 5 year deal and loves Juve, while Pogba's got a €4m deal on the table and really doesn't like United.

Sky sources are saying a Norwich deal is close.

I wouldn't be so definitive about Pogba.
He won't come back, nor do I think he would even be welcome back here, but he and Raiola are whores of the highest order. Even if he signs that contract I doubt it's worth the paper its written on, he'll just hang around until a PSG who will offer him more money come begging.
Vidal is the biggest shame though, he'd be perfect.

Decent move for both him and Celtic. Good signing.

Look like West Ham hope to complete loan signing of Monaco's giant Ivory Coast striker Lacina Traore

With only one fit CB as well, it basically means it may end up being like the Glenn Roeder-era Newcastle, with midfielders having to fill in all over the place.

Did he even score for Wigan?

Big Sam's dream. 3 massive central strikers, Jarvis and Downing playing wing backs raiding up the line and putting in crosses/diagonal balls with Nolan to get the knock downs!

How good is he? What sort of midfielder is he?
Jonas
He was player of the season for a title winning Strømsgodset. He's a passing player who's calm on the ball, has great vision and a decent left foot on him too. I'm pretty sure Celtic is the best option available for him out there in terms of player development and taking the step out of Norway. Obviously still got a lot to learn, but 's a good deal for both parts I believe.
