It's like saying "He went in 2 footed but didn't actually hurt him", still should be a red card
Shola

He didn't deserve one but the way football is, it's completely backward - we either have to look at all incidents impartially afterwards or none at all. The red card should be simply swapped and an appeal lodged if Arsenal want to.

Did not know Arsenal's record was that bad

There's a difference in terms of the letter of the law.
The second instance is still a red card because the laws state intent i.e. 'kick or attempt to kick' and so on and excessive force is still excessive force whether you break a leg or not.
For a DOGSO handball offence thats not the case, he has to actually have done it for it to be a red card, intent is irrelevant. Therefore, because there was no goalscoring opportunity nothing Chamberlain did can actually illegally deny Chelsea the opportunity, because one never existed. That's why he's got away with it.

Wow me either. Same as the other day when I found out that we have only won 1 game against any of the top 9 this season

I know the rule, the rule is bullshit, Ox clearly did it with the intention of preventing a goal
That's actually only away games. Including home games, the record is 7-4-18 I believe
bluemoon.
Given the lack of depth they have up-front, he'd still be a decent signing.

In the summer I'd be over the fucking moon if we actually went and got someone like Diego Costa, but seeing as that's almost certainly not going to happen I'd be happy to us to get Remy and maybe being in someone like Mandzukic as will (with Giroud leaving).
lemmiwinksrm
That was a remarkably listless performance. I am still yet to see a good performance from Giroud in the 8 or 9 games I've been to this season. He is just so static and lethargic as player.
There were four players on the pitch who deserved to wear an Arsenal shirt tonight (Gibbs, Rosicky, Mertesacker and Podolski) and one of them only got given thirty minutes!

Scholes is stealing a living as a pundit - the man can barely speak.

It a bit of a shame, because I don't particularly dislike Arsenal, that everyones been proven right again.

If he doesn't walk away he'll be remembered for the things he did wrong, which really shouldn't happen but if it does he only has himself to blame.

We had all of Ramsey, Ozil and Walcott fit then, and even though we did get thumped by City we'd come back with a decent run of form, and at that point the general consensus was that we'd regained our mental steel.
Making up for their injuries was going to be hard without messing with the team's togetherness (influx of new players in Jan)/fucking up the money, which for better or for worse Wenger has avoided.
That said, we've lost (or maybe never had) that steel, and we're a loss to Wigan from seeing this season go utterly tits up.

Dreading seeing how we're going to manage to fuck up in the FA Cup.

I was a fool for thinking it would be different this year. I feel incredibly let down by this team and the manager.

There's no way we will win. If we didn't have Ramsey, Walcott, Ozil, Wilshere and Koscielny all out injured we might have a chance but I fear City will turn us over on Saturday.
Tommo.
But you have Kallstrom. It will be one of the only times this season I do cheer Arsenal on

There's absolutely no logic that supports this.

Ye will win

Sometimes, but more often than not the better team with better players in better form will beat the worse team with worse players (with about six out injured) who are in awful form. City will win and I would take a 0-0 draw right now.
