@theo714, in all 3 of your requests, the existing megapack cut is already of a good enough quality and is quite recent. In cases like this, there is no need for a new cut to be made, especially when there is hardly any differences between the existing cuts and the sources provided.

In fact, the last point in the guidelines on how to make requests says: "Ask yourself, is it really an improvement to the existing MP image? If it's the same face and hairstyle with just this season's new kit, it's probably just an alternative." for this very reason. Keep in mind that we have a somewhat limited amount of cutters and if they have to make a new cut for every new source which comes out, we'd have an even bigger request list than we already do

That said, if somebody nonetheless cuts them, I'll of course give them due consideration when deciding whether to add them to the megapack or not, but imo they're not really a priority when you keep all of the above in mind

@justapo When the current cutout is only a year or two old, high quality (250px) and the person's appearance is very similar, there's no point in submitting a lower quality 180px cutout.

It's not a bad cut, but it looks like the source might not have been the best, quality-wise, so it's not really an improvement. Same for all the others I've rejected @unalaydin.

Also, generally speaking, we look to have no more than 2-3 pixels of empty space above the head and beneath the chin. Since in some sources, like this one, the person in the image has a longer neck than usual or the collar is lower down, the above would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.

Here's a technique of how the above can be accomplished quite easily by lassoing the collar and nudging it upwards:

For images which are tilted to one side, it is recommended that you rotate your source before cropping it. It'll look much better in-game if it is fully upright. This is how to address this:

Have a look at this thread for guidelines for cutters and video tutorials on what we expect for from our cuts.

I recommend using remove.bg for your cuts. It's a fantastic free online tool which does the heavy lifting for you by removing the background in the source image, leaving you to only rotate, crop and/or nudge the collar upwards. It's tremendously easy to use and provides fantastic quality. With it, you can go from source to cut in a couple of minutes for the vast majority of images.

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons 😉 If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

Finally, when you have a lot of images to upload, it saves a lot of time for both of us if you do so as a pack instead of one-by-one 😉
