A perfect example as to why recent is not necessarily better.

Your opinion is very subjective. A lot of people like to have recent cut out face even if the quality is less good. Personally , i would have cut the last one despite the poor quality. Afterwards , as long as he has a cut out face and we recognize him.^^

And your opinion is not subjective? Everybody's opinion is by definition subjective 😕 And don't use the expression ‘a lot of people’ to refer to yourself 😉

To avoid the question of subjectivity, we have the guideline that it is better to have a cut-out made from a slightly older image if it is of superior quality. It's served us well for the last decade and more, and that's because it makes perfect sense in this context.

If you want to be part of this community, follow its rules and guidelines; it's really quite simple. It's very frustrating for me having to tell you the same thing over and over again, like not needing to post the source if you're posting a cut, or not needing to post the date a photo was taken when it's not really relevant.
