On the club overview panel, is there anyway to change the stadium information to league history instead? The selector thing is no longer there.

I had to take the selector out, as it was causing the stadium name to display the club short name, for some bizarre reason.

As a fan of both Steklo skins (long time user) and a fan of old style FM (classic mode)
i wonder could author, Tom legendary Dixon, find time for creating FMC compatible skin for FM14.

Is so hard to look in white backrounds, which I hate so much and it's so strange that nobody to this day haven't published skin for classic mode.

I don't know, it depends on if I can find the motivation to do it.

It looks like you've still got the first version, that should be fixed in the latest update. Also, have you been messing about with the graphics? Some of those buttons look very odd.

Well, I don't have to, in the same way you don't have to use the skin. It's a pretty insignificant thing to have to create a second panel for, and you're the only person to have mentioned it.

They should be back in the next version, as that will have a standard action bar, rather than the FMC style one.

Yep, sorry. It's the only widget id that actually shows something. For some reason, it shows the full name on the squad screen, even though it's the same panel.

It would involve a lot of graphics changes. As well as changing text colours, etc. You'd pretty much be creating a new skin.

A couple of screenshots of the new header. I haven't entirely decided where to put the club logo, so that might change. I've got to redo the quickflicks and tab graphics, and sort out the text colours on the action bar.

If you've downloaded a skin, then go to the settings folder and edit the skin name settings.xml file. Inside you should find lines like this:

<colour name="normal attribute" red="170" green="170" blue="210" alpha="0"/>
<colour name="good attribute" red="150" green="240" blue="100" alpha="0"/>
<colour name="excellent attribute" red="240" green="150" blue="0" alpha="0"/>
<colour name="special attribute" red="0" green="180" blue="0" alpha="0"/>

Except they won't have the alpha attribute. Add that to each element, save and reload the skin. It should look like this:

Have you got the latest version? There was a fix for that in v1.01 (the latest version v1.02)

I think if you go to panels\tactics overview panel.xml, then find and remove this line:

Strangely enough, you'd be better off with a smaller screen. That panel is resizeable and is omitted if the pitch panel above it needs all the space. I always shrink the screen down when taking screenshots,

The grey border around the header is too distracting and frankly ugly.

It's not actually grey, it's dependent on the current team/nation's second colour. It's mostly their to delineate the header and main screen area (otherwise it looks as though the tabs and action buttons are just floating about), as well as add a bit more colour to proceedings

After using the default one for 3 months I'm too used to most buttons being on the right.
I couldn't figure out where all the buttons vanished like offer new contract or enquire about player.

This is one of my bugbears with what SI have been doing to skinning since FM10. It's been harder and harder to do something that isn't basically a recolour of the default header without compromising somewhere else down the line. In this case, the autohiding actions on the match screen and using a more FMC like action button style (and then spending a while working out which actions you need, and which you don't). I think v1.02 should have solved most, if not all, of the missing actions.
