What the “F” is this?

That is not related to the skin. When you start a new game you should change that option (I don't remember exactly if you have to “tick” or “untick” the option related to that; however is easy to find that option)

 

OK….I understand that…I always leave unchecked to as to “not” hide the attributes….so I have an oddity I guess…..I'll survive :-)

If this isn't from your skin (didn't see this in last year's skin), which panel would need to be removed or altered?

Good day FLUT - much appreciation as always - my question is regarding the "player attributes". Is it this skin that is causing the range of an attribute to look like  “13-17” rather than showing the actual attribute of “15”? If so, please advise how I can get the actual attribute number and the CA/PA to show for all players, not just my team.

A little work around if you want to use “Real World” mode and are using the IGE.

 

As discussed above, in set up you can only manage a team from the country's start date you are using. I chose Scotland….and of course I had no choice but to pick a team from Scotland. I chose a team in Lowest league. once hired, I used the IGE to move myself to the team in England I wanted to manage.

 

Not a perfect solution, but if you want Real World mode and the ability to use this England file it might be worth a try.

 

UPDATE: Actually, just start unemployed and then use the IGE to move to your English team

i want realism from my game

 

thats like buying FM23 today, the players need to be at the clubs in real time

 

If I wanted unrealistic stats and data I would buy fifa 

 

I'm glad you do not want it. I would suggest you not use the option and play like you always do. That's' what makes FM so great, it allows the user to play how he/she likes. For example, I will not play the women's leagues, but I'm happy they are offering it as it will bring joy to someone.

This is awesome……I usually try to do this on my own by loaning guys back to their original team….i.e - With the In-Game Editor, I would be loan Henderson back to Liverpool until July 27th. 

 

It is really needed for the transfers that happen after the season starts, such as Kane.……many players will play 2 or 3 games with their club before their transfer……I like keeping the rosters real best I can :-).

 

If you don't like it, I'm sure FM will give the option to turn it off.

Im a little confused

In flut's post it says:

but when Onyewu replayed it says:

Wich one is the right?

Sorry to confuse you kfnielsen…..I changed my side bar to the secondary color last year, so I use the primary color for the icons….I should have mentioned that.

Thanks. Regarding the problem. Is the planner icon.xml. You have to include it in the menubar folder and use the following code:

Since this is a new issue there was a file missing in the folder and also the code should be changed for the secondary colour) 🙂

Thanks Flut….yes almost all the panels work great.

 

On this subject, Is the new xml file called “squad planner icon.xml” ?………I used the old National Pool icon graphic and renamed it Squad Planner (put it in the 26px folder) and made the squad planner icon.xml and put it in the menubar folder in panels…..still stays white. It appears all items are done correctly including color. Maybe I have the name of the icon wrong?

Anyone else crashing when you a click go to the match

It's an optional add-on that you need to install separately if you want to use it. So it isn't part of the Flut skin as is.

thanks…..…since I haven't added it, something else is causing the data hub & staff meetings tabs to not work. As others mentioned, they work fine with base skin….just not when adding the FLUT skin…..I'll just remove the skin when I want to look at the data hub and choose to not attend staff meetings to avoid getting stuck as I can't live without my Flut Skin !!

I can't open the Data Hub either, or attend staff meetings (that I've scheduled for every week).

The person there says the data hub started working again after they removed their custom skin. (Didn't mention which skin it was.)

 

 

EDIT: Can confirm removing the Japan Clubs Overwiev fix helped; both Data Hub and Staff Meeting work now.

 

@flut  I do kindly hope some fix can be found so the Japanese clubs can be accessed again soon?

I'm hoping to start a career in japan at some point.

 

What is this Japan Clubs Overview….is that in the Flut skin that I can remove or a specific add on

There is a conflict with the unlock japanese clubs file. Thus, if you are using that alt, just remove it, clear the cache and reload the game,

 

I haven't added that file….., so who knows…

Anyone else have an issue with not being able to open the Data Hub from the sidebar icon/name? I can access it with the base skin, but not with the Flut skin….maybe it's the button I'm using from an older Flut skin? All the other sidebar items will open when I click them.

If you start the game pre season you will get just the fixtures it won't matter that the results are entered

Hello again FLUT - I presume since you just did the "match mid match review panel" in V 5.0 that there will be a "match full time review panel" in the next update?.......oh wait, I see there is a "match full time review panel1" panel in there.......do we just rename that to"match full time review panel"....I guess I'll give it a try and I'll find out.....thanks again

Try clicking on your tactics....once your in that screen all the buttons will show (at least for me it does.....I can't explain why)

I would advise people they have to extract these .fmf files in the Resource Archiver to get to the necessary files

Hey FLUT - not sure where you're looking as I posted this note on another site regarding coloring the scoreboard:

I can get the scoreboard team background (primary) / text (secondary) colors to work with the 6-letter team name, but not with the full team name update.....In the match score area panel, I changed the lines for "text button" "T1nm" and the "team button" "homN" from colour "black" to "secondary"......I have the background color correct, but the text that I changed from black to secondary is now the secondary color of the competition, not the team secondary color.....any advice?

UPDATE: Thanks for answering FLUT......oh well, hopefully we'll resolve this mystery some day !!
