You've basically explained why we can't and don't use the SI images unless specifically flagged in cases like this...

It's not quite that easy. First you have to extract them using the resource archiver, then you have to rename them - since the SI images filename has the person name while ours has the UID.

Have a look at this thread which explains how to extract the default SI images and why it's not as easy as you think it is to add them to our megapack. Having said that, I'll make sure we have a look at SI's Reading images and add/correct...

How long are you waiting before manually exiting the game? I suspect it's just loading the graphics and maybe taking you a while because you have an older PC. How large is your graphics folder, incidentally?

The whole icon megapack can be downloaded within the 9.0 update pack. All subsequent update packs released will include folders with both the cuts and the icons. I really should add this to the OP when I have the time tbh
