Isn't he like very tall? If so i can't see Adebayor staying.. him and Adebayor are too similar, just Soldado can score.

No, he's only 5' 10". He's not great in the air either (from what I know of him).

Yep

I thought he had a 26.5m buyout clause, as reported by Sky?

My bad, Spurs offered €26m, not pounds. They want €30m. Got a bit confused

Should have gone for Mario Gomez whilst they had the chance.

Mario Gomez only ever wanted to go to Fiorentina, no hope of him going elsewhere

Gomez is one of the very best goalscorers in Europe, it's the other aspects of his game that holds him back and made him expendable at Bayern.

Just couldn't see him ever doing that sort of stuff in the EPL.

Gomez is like Van Nistelrooy.

He'll score goals in any team in any league.

He has played only in Germany so you can't be sure of that.

Arsenal have failed with a £40m Suarez bid.

Fuckin' el.

£40,000,001 to be precise.

Fuck me, I'd so much rather sell him and get some one else in.

Bit surprising of Arsenal to be throwing that much money around, especially on someone who is banned for the first few games.

Isn't he supposed to be wanting to leave due to the English press? Don't see how moving to the biggest city in the country would help

Few people saying the extra quid has triggered some sort of clause in his contract? Pretty bizarre, we'll see.

It would be hilarious if it did but alas it did not and Liverpool rejected it.

The extra pound means Liverpool must inform Suarez of the interest, they don't have to accept though.

There are loads of players that play for two teams in the same city, Hargreaves wanted the money, Man City wanted a defensive midfielder and Man Utd didn't give a fuck as they knew he was a crock.

I don't see the problem.

It's not the English media he hates, it's the Liverpool media. He wants to get away from the Liverpool Echo.

Not only is that in the wrong thread but you've also entirely missed the point.

Tbf, moving to a London club and a bit of PR work would probably get the London press eating out of his arsehole and praising his 'redemption'.

He could stop being a cunt as well, that would help get the media off his back.

Anyway, hoping Arsenal sign him. Looking forward to seeing Arsenal fans defend the indefensible and Liverpool fans attack him next season.

Why can't we make sense of Premier League business and not give Liverpool 40 million pounds to spend?
I'd rather give Madrid the money so that they can buy Bale.
