With the possible exception of where I live, there was a bloke in the shop the other day with "Ain't No Black In The Union Jack".

It's really racist in my town in Leicestershire as well, I served a black customer once, as he left the bloke behind uttered 'Is it just me or is it getting dark early round here?' The other customers in the shop burst out laughing and cracking their Favorite racist jokes together.

Growing up in a big multicultural city like Birmingham that shocked me to be honest, and not many things do shock me. It seems just way of life round here though as it's a 99% white British area.

Saying the word nigger is not offensive in and of itself. What's racist is the implications that the word has and the way in which people say it. Take it from someone who's nickname at school for a year was gayboy. Never gets old. Until someone starts saying shit about your boyfriend and you punch them in the face. Then it gets old pretty quickly.

I have new least favourite thing. When people put on a stupid accent to say foreign words or place names. You can say Notre Dame without making yourself sound like a pretentious tit.
It's acceptable if you're in full flow speaking a different language, but when it's just one word or phrase, it's annoying as fuck.
