I know with the forum being as dead as it is current news stories won't get much attention, but given what's happening over in North Korea at the moment I feel this thread's appropriate.

Anyway, apparently North Korea have entered "a state of war" with South Korea.

North Korea said on Saturday it was entering a "state of war" with South Korea in a continuing escalation of tough rhetoric against Seoul and Washington after coming under international sanctions for its nuclear test.

"From this time on, the North-South relations will be entering the state of war and all issues raised between the North and the South will be handled accordingly," a statement carried by the North's official KCNA news agency said.

KCNA said the statement was issued jointly by the North's government, ruling party and other organizations.

North Korea has been threatening to attack the South and U.S. military bases almost on a daily basis since the beginning of March, when U.S. and South Korean militaries started routine drills, and has ordered its armed forces on the highest alert.

But the impoverished state has kept a joint industrial zone that is the source of hard currency where hundreds of South Korean workers and vehicles cross enter daily after crossing the rival Koreas' heavily armed border.

Few believe North Korea will risk starting a full-out war.

The two Koreas have been in a technical state of war because their 1950-53 conflict ended under an armistice and not a peace treaty, although Pyongyang earlier in March declared the truce no longer valid.

What's the likely outcome from this? Are North Korea just posturing or is an attack on the United States or it's Allies possible? Part of me just wants them to attack Alaska or some shit so the US can just flatten them and end this crap.
I highly doubt they'll do anything, unless they've got a suicide wish.
Close this shit. If I can't have an information dump on Israel then this clown can't have one on an insignificant country
People might care about this one though KM - no-one gave a fuck about you splattering propaganda in the Isreal thread.

Thanks man. Always a honour to be singled out personally when you spew your vitriol.

They are just huffing and puffing in the hopes that the world will give them attention.

North Korea is a crazy nation, but I doubt their leadership is suicidal.

I think it's safe to say that thread was not even close to a discussion, it was just you posting pro-Palestine new material.
Aren't they already at war? There was no permanent peace treaty, unless an Armistice that North Korea has already denounced.

I'll see you
Obviously when people are saying North Korea's military capabilities are exaggerated, you want people to see the mightiest ship in your army...

To be serious, the question is of how much of their capabilities is fact. There's no way that they could successfully hit Hawaii, nevermind mainland America, with any missile they currently have, no matter how much they say they can. All really depends on whether or not South Korea and China decide they've tired of the NK rhetoric.

The smallest man in the world but yet he's the most dangerous. He don't be well at all. Also the Chinese or Russians won't defend them so they're on there own. They'll wipe us all out if they begin a nuclear war though!!

Had to ring the police a couple of times today. A family of drug-addicted alcoholic cunts tried stealing from the shop again. A cop came down to give us a crime reference number and a copy of the camera footage. They've been banned from the shop but I guarantee that they'll be back in the shop sooner or later, nicking stuff.

Gahaha those gif's are hilarious.

And apparently North Korea have refused South Korean workers entry into the Kaesong industrial complex where they work together.
N.Korea has just vowed actual military actions against the US, US announces it is moving an advanced missile system to the Pacific island of Guam. Shit is going down!
Twitter's response is superb.

They're all awful though, with the exception of the one you RT'd
Aye, too many football chants go in the tune of "Score when he wants, he scores when he wants" - it's fucking annoying.
